Playdates

The past couple days have been filled with playdates and we have enjoyed every minute of it! On Sunday I met my mom in Tulsa and we headed up to Bartlesville to spend a day with my dear friend Rachel,Jackson and a few other mommies and babies! We had a blast. Owen did to, if you see him crawling over Jackson! They were in town from North Dakota so it was absolutley wonderful to see them.
Mom and I headed back to Tulsa, and that's where we met up with my bestie Bethany , Savy and Joe! I'm so glad we got to see you before you left! Can't wait for our next weekend together.
Then on Tuesday,we went over to my friend Laura to spend the afternoon with her daughter Miss A! Owen sure loved her. Thanks for another fun day.

Santa Baby

My mom got Owie the cutest Santa outfit, so I took his 7 month pictures in it. I think he's an adorable Santa!

Merry Christmas

Even though it was Owen's first Christmas, he really didn't get it,but he sure loved his toys! He was definately spoiled this year.It will just get better :)
My dad was great enough to get Blake "The Heisman" football he wanted,signed by Jason White, Billy Sims and Steve Owens. I have a feeling i'm gonna come home someday and find my pictures put away and the football with a bright light glowing down upon it.
After a full eventful day of having family over, going out to the in-laws and going to look at Christmas lights,Owen had a bath and this is what I walked in on, a naked baby playing with his toys!

Beginning of Baby's First Christmas

This weekend was a very,busy,family weekend. Saturday my mom and Chuck came over and took Owen and I to lunch at Jersey Mike's( if you haven't been, you need to go...delicious).We traded Christmas presents, which we can't open till Christmas day and that is so hard,bc I am so bad about giving or opening presents on the right day :) Saturday afternoon I took Owen with my dad & Cheryl out to my Grandpa's,which is O's Great Grandpa. First meeting so of course we had to do a generations picture.
Then on Sunday we went out to Blake's parents for the whole family to open presents. TALK ABOUT CRAZINESS!!!! We had a good time and O got spoiled!!! I was excited about new toys though to trade out the other ones!
It was a fun and eventul weekend but so glad it's over :) Now for this week...

Missed Me?

So I know i've been missing for a while. Things have been a little crazy and I just haven't made myself get on here...SORRY!!! I know you have missed me!
Well let's see Owen is growing up so fast. He's crawling,pulling up...so yea he's all over the place!
We had a good Thanksgiving and my mom came over for the week. It was so great to have her here and it let me get a little sleep!!! Thanks mom.

Mommy's lil Monkey

So of course Owen was gonna be a monkey for Halloween! I love monkeys and i'm trying to do this monkey thing as long as I can until he has an opinion :)
He did so good for me when I took his pictures! Here are a few pictures for his 5 months! People always said they grow up so fast but just didn't realize how fast it really would be.

Pumpkin Patch Entertainment

Owen and I went down to see my best friend and her daughter(Owen's future wife). We had the best time. It was the first time that they got to play together and they were so cute. We took them to the Pumpkin Patch, tried to get them together in their costumes, but Savannah was having a nice little nap. Here are some pics from our fun little trip! Weekend in Bville

Well this weekend Owen and I headed to B'ville for a friends Baby shower. Luckily we got to stay with some great friends and my mom even came over and met us. So it was a girls weekend at the Carver's. While we were there we relaxed, I got to sleep,bc I had a lot of help with Owie, we ate a lot of food,watched the Sooners lose(sad day) and we went to see a few friends! It was a great weekend but glad to be in my own home! Thanks again Carvers!

4 Months = Shots,Eating baby food and Finding my toes

Can you believe my little boy is already 4 months old? Makes me a little sad. He's growing so fast and he's so healthy. The doctor said he is doing great and growing perfectly,should be sitting up soon and crawling soon.

The Dr. was asking me if Owen was rolling over,laughing,scooting across the floor,reaching for things, noticing when we leave the room? I kept saying "yes,yes and yes!" He is doing everything. His new little experience is playing with his feet and blowing bubbles. Owen is such a wiggle worm and is all over the place. We will definately have some sort of sports athlete in our family. And we tried his first baby food today...SWEET POTATOES. He did pretty good. Didn't make all the funny faces I thought he would,but more are still to come i'm sure.

Attempting Owen's 4 month pictures

Ok,so we attempted to take Owen's pictures out at my inlaws acreage! Well he was so happy before and once we got outside he was not a happy camper,when we went back in he was happy again. So it's not exactly what I wanted but here's a few that turned out! This is what happens when his mommy is a photographer he knows how to work it!

Oklahoma State Fair

We took Owie to his first state fair! We got 1 picture out of him,then he slept the rest of the time we were there.He did great for the 2 hours we were there.Of course mommy and daddy got corn dogs and a funnel cake.I'm sorry but you can't go to the fair without getting a funnel cake :) YUMMO!
Also my dad had put 5 of my photographs in the Amateur Photography Contest and 3 of them got ribbons! They are below,yes I took pictures of my pictures! The Truck got 9th place, the OU game got 6th place and the tulip picture got honorable mention.
there were 100's of photographs and so many different category's so I was very excited that I got 3 ribbons!
