finally back in action. =x mummy's been busy finding job and playing with me everyday. she is finally starting work on 19 dec.. i gonna miss her loads n also drinking milk directly from her, now tt she's gona work, she's busy stocking up milk for me@ :D recently i made mummy n daddy so happy every morny they wakie, cos i will greet them with my saliva! oh i mean the sound made by me with my saliva in my throat =x i go geee geee geee non stop and i keep "talking" to them and made both of them go "so cute so cute! haha i love my jerald!!" *heee*

later today, i gonna attend my first xMas party! so exciting@ on wed evening, daddy n mummy brought me to united square together with aunty Juliet n Devon meimei.. we went toys r us shopping for xMas gift for exchange today! mummy is v notti, she only think bout her shopping and forgotten that i'm hungry! i keep whining and she jus keep distracting me by walking faster, shaking me, holding me up.. in the end she finally brought me to the baby's room and nurse me! i was drinking like a hungry bb.. i love the baby's room cos its v clean n cold! spent some time there before parting with aunty juliet n Devon meimei.. hee i cant wait to meet other korkor n jiejies at the gathering later! so happy!!

Jerald's fever subsided~

yeaH! his fever finally subsided after 2 long days.. thank god man! i am so happy.. and i brought him out to play@ we went to toa payoh today.. cos i wanted to meet Juliet [a fellow mummy i met from the forum] and pass her some gifts! and i saw her lovely bb girl devon~~ she's tall and big and lovely! i missed jerald's newborn look.. haha and visited the kiddy palace at toa payoh for the first time! man.. its big! the shop spilted into 4 corners of the level! we only manage to shop 1/4 of the 4 parts.. hee and sth caught my mum's eye..its a swing! she carry jerald over to the swing section and let him try on 1 of the swings.. immediately he loves it and keep smiling.. my mum ask him in mandrain "do u wan the swing lele?" he reply back "yao!" me and ju and her hb all shock! haha and mum bought that swing for him.. haha a good day for jerald eh... he got a new pressie~~

3rd Month Assessment

Jerald went for his 3rd Mth assessment yday.. he weights 6.5kg, is standing at 59.5cm tall, and head circumference is 42cm! went for the jab before the doctor's consultation.. before the nurse gonna inject him, i tried to distract him by singing his fav song and he was giggling n making noise with me.. who knows the nurse poke his poor arm already he scream n cry so loud.. vent all his anger out.. *ouch my heart hurts* after jab tried to hoax him but he still cry till he got everyone's attention. haha.. went to let doctor see him.. she says bb is growing well, neck steady already, everything ok.. :)

Do you all notice that i have v v v smooth n shiny face/cheeks? do you all know why?? don think only adults do facial ok.. lil babies also do facial! my mummy n ah ma always do facial for my face twice a day: once after morny bath, once after evening clean-up. thats y i have sucha smooth facey! to prove to you all, TADAH! see those white white cream? yes its my facial cream! heehee.. ah ma bought it from poly clinic de pharmacy for me de.. not v cheap $16 bucks wor.. but its v good! i saves my face from being a pimple plantation.. *giggles* but still, at times when mummy is lazy or tired, after each nursing session she nv clean my chin properly, pimples start poooping out n ah ma will keep nagging her non stop!! bad bad mummy! she deserves the nagging/scolding! haha!

Its 2 44am, jus finish nursing my dearest son n he's sleeping on my lap now. haha he's such a lovely boy.. i cant stop smiling n making stupid actions jus to see his toothless smile everyday. he is already 3 months old as of the lunar calendar. time flies so much, its really great tat i could see him grow for these past 3 mths! anytime now i will be working, i really cannot bare to be apart from him!! i nv regretted breast feeding him, cos i really love the bonding session we have each time.. it simply rox! :D i'm the only person whom he recognises the most.. haha when he's sickly, he'll cry non stop but i'm sort of the only one who can hoax him to b quiet.. ahh! no words can explain how much i love him!! Jerald darling, you're my most precious other then ur daddy! haha

Jerald has learnt how to sing along with me! haha damn cute.. i was playing with him one day and i started singing to him as usual.. normally he jus smile n chuckles, but tis day he tried to sing along with me! how exciting!!!

The pic on the left is taken when jerald is few weeks old.. the right one is when he is 2 months old! so big difference yea? he's such a lovely boy.. hehe now we are training him too pee when we "whistle" for him while holding a cup at the little birdy.. and he can do it! no more napkins for him during the day! only wear shorts for him.. keke so clever. but today got some misque.. we were all taking our dinner in the kitchen and left him in the bouncer in the living room.. and my mum ensured that he pee-ed before we go eat dinner.. who knows half way thru dinner we saw water dripping thru the netted bouncer. ahhaha Jerald pees again! lmao.. another incident today.. jerald woke up from his sleep and i faster take the cup and position him on my thigh and start whistling.. and he started crying n his pee came out.. while i was telling him "good boy good boy" i cover his birdy and wanna carry him up i sudd felt my hand so sticky when i reached for his butt.. i look at my hand and i saw his POO!! and my thigh all poo!! i sorta screamed out to my mum and i saw jerald smiling away.. ahaha my little notti boy!! simply love him so much.. we both misses his daddy who is far away in taiwan~~~ cant wait for daddy to be back!!

Jerald is really growing more and more cute each day.. hee i cant bare to go work at all! now i understand what stacy meant when she say while she's working, after work rush home as fast as she could to see her bb.. Now Jerald can respond to us le.. He can recognise mummy! E.g. when my mum is carrying him and he is hungry.. she try all means to distract him if i am busy.. and when i'm done with my stuff, i came over and call out to him, he will "bian zui" and starts to cry like he's so poor thing! haha.. i love him so much really so much.. i can't help but keep taking photos of him and videos of his cute moments.. wanna compile them into a big photo album to show to him in the future! :)

Still remember when he was born.. he had v bad jaundice.. since discharge from KKH on the 5th September, everyday we need to go to the poly clinic to have blood test from his tiny heel and check the jaundice level and my tears flow like how his blood flow! everyday his jaundice level keep increasing and that worries me so much!! by day 5 of his life, he was sent to KKH A&E and admitted for NNJ [Neo-Natal Jaundice] and needs to have photo therapy. My heartached so much and i cant stop crying! I lost my appetite the day he was admitted.. my poor baby is not gonna be with me for the next few days! and i am so worried that his jaundice might be caused by his liver failure to function and stuff.. Hubby rushed out from camp the moment i sms-ed him bout jerald's situation.. both of us were jus so worried bout jerald! on the day he was admitted, my breast milk started flowing!! It was so sudden and i didn't prepare any breast pump.. and i tasted the "breast-engorged-like-a-stone" feeling and its definitely not nice.. wanted to latch jerald on when i visit him at the hospital but he was soundly asleep.. so i came home with the "stone-breast" -_-" I am really blessed! A fellow forum mummy who stayed next block to my mum came over to lend me her pump @ 4am! oh my god can u imagine how touched i was.. i nearly died of engorgement thru out the nite cant sleep at all.. but it was wasted i threw all the milk away bcos i nv sterilise the bottles n pump cos i was in great pain =x a big big thank you to the mummy!! really appreciate it alot! next day my beloved sweet "s-klub" [u know who u are] bought me Medela Mini Electric Breast Pump and wai passed to me!! i quickly sterilise and pump out the pathetic 20 - 40ml of milk for Jerald.. brought it to KKH with me when i visited him.. Received good news on the next day that his jaundice level has fallen! so happy and both my mum n me teared! so silly of us.. but i am really happy that he is finally recovering! he discharged from KKH 3 days later.. and con't to visit polyclinic everyday for blood tests.. his jaundice was finally found out to be "breast-feeding Jaundice" - meaning his jaundice is caused by breastfeeding and therefore has no harm to his body and his liver is functioning well! *phew!* I love my baby boy Jerald Tan sooooooooooooooooooo much!!

Jerald was borned on the 4th of September 2005 at K K Women & Children Hospital. At birth, he weighed 3.645kg, 48cm tall, head circumference 33cm and he was delivered by Dr Jazlan Joosph. He was born at full-term, meaning 40weeks. His mummy was induced, becos jerald simply refuses to come out from mummy's womb. Mommy was admitted to KKH on 2nd Sept @ 1pm @ the delivery suite with the company of his daddy :) Both of them spent a day at DS awaiting eagerly for jerald to arrive but he didnt wan to come out yet. -_-" so mummy was sent to the ward to rest and sleep. next morning she was "summoned" to the DS again. At 3pm, gynae decided to burst the water bag.. and @ 5pm, mummy was on dripper and contractions became more frequent, also starts to dilate cm by cm. by 8pm, mummy could feel the pain coming and daddy stood by her all the way, holding her hands tightly each time contractions made mummy pain and almost into tears. Daddy keep encouraging her to hang on, and that she can make it thru without any form of anesthetic. finally after mid nite, the real pain comes and gynae says Jerald is coming anytime soon. After sometime of pushing, Jerald is finally out from mummy's tummy!
I'm such a lovely baby!! Both mummy and daddy became wobbly after all the force exerted and their hands were shaking badly.. lolz* A big big thanks to the mid wife & gynae Dr Jazlan for all the encouragement & delivering our baby. 曾祖母，叔公 & his wife & son, 外婆，大姨 were all outside of the delivery suite waiting to see mummy, daddy and me! :)
