I love Christmas!  Here are some of the highlights of the season...

Susanville Symphony

We went to the Susanville Symphony.  The music was wonderful!

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving at home this year.  On Thanksgiving day, we cut down our Christmas tree, went to the movies and add a nice Thanksgiving dinner together.  We had a great day!

New Floors

We were finally able to start updating our floors!  We put in new hardwood floors.  They are so beautiful!

We are trying to paint the house.  It will take us a really, really long time to finish up that project.  The bedroom and office are done.  The hallway is almost done.

Taylor's Internship

Taylor spent the summer in Idaho working at a steel construction company.

Here is one of his projects.

He did have a little mishap while working - lots of staples in his head.

Lake Tahoe

Brian and I were able to get away for a few days.  We went to Lake Tahoe.  It was so beautiful and there were lots of things to do.

On our first day we went to a bunch of farms.  They sold apples, crafts, pumpkins and so much more.

One of our evenings entertainment was spent at a magic show.  It was really nice!

We spent a few days hiking around the beautiful area of Lake Tahoe.  Our first hike was to Eagle Falls.

One the next day we went to Alpine Springs.  It used to be a secluded campground. 

We spent one of our evenings eating dinner and relaxing by a fire pit.

This is where we stayed.

We drove by Emerald Bay.  It is a really beautiful site.  There were a TON of people there, so we didn't get a chance to stop.

We spent another night on a dinner cruise.  We went to Emerald Bay.
