Men Folk Inspired

As it is fathers day on 18th June I would like to see a masculine card to celebrate the men folk.  It doesn't have to be for fathers day but I know we all struggle with a more masculine card so lets have some made for the card stash.

I fell in love with this cool camping stamp set right away … to me it feels very masculine: being outdoors, doing active things and experiencing adventures (maybe even meeting big animals in the woods).

I a book binding card fort he first time. (Here’s a tutorial for that).

And I used the other stamps on this Z-fold-card.

Everything’s coming up roses

Roses are one of the two birth flowers for June — this week we’d like to see roses somewhere on your project. As an alternative if you’re not in the mood for flowers, yellow roses symbolise friendship so include yellow in your colour palette with any image or technique you like. Extra virtual brownie points if you manage yellow roses!

DC June Elemental inspiration

 

Hello crafty people!

It’s already June … and summer is finally starting. I love the higher temperatures and enjoy the sunshine on my face so much 😊!

Kathy picked a great picture for the Daring Cardmakers‘ challenge:

I like the mediterranean vibes of the picture and used the mosaic, some flowers and a vase on my card.

As you can see, I used the same paper pad as last week. And it looks quite different this time, doesn’t it?
