this is my new fave recipe. i honestly think it's the best pot roast i have ever had... seriously.
sear 5 1/2 pound chuck roast on all sides in oil
place in crock pot
cover with 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, 1 1/4 cup beef broth & 1 package dry onion soup mix
cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
the best part about this? it makes its own yummy gravy! i serve it with mashed potatoes & costco's fresh steamed green beans.
