Happy Easter

Traditionally on Sunday we look for colorful Easter eggs... and sweets are hidden outside in nature for the children.

Tomorrow the thermometer should reach 20 degrees plus sunshine. The ice cream parlors open. I've decided not to buy an ice cream machine for now, but to enjoy ice cream in selected ice cream parlors... and we have some good ones all around - unfortunately not quite as good as in Italy :-))) Eating ice cream in Italy - you know???

This is Kathy Post's seal - nice!

This beautiful hummingbird fluttered into my house from dear Kathy... you can imagine how happy I was. Especially because I will never see the beauty of the hummingbird in my home.

The hummingbird for me - thank you very much, dear Kathy

And yes, spring is the time for plans and projects... I have new and old projects ready and will show them in the next post... and that's a work in progress.

the first bees, bumblebees and butterflies can be found

I bought a beautiful bouquet of Levkojen for myself, they smell delicious and shine in beautiful red tones.

A wonderful Easter to everyone in the blog group. May joy and happiness accompany you.

A little dream of spring

I dream of riding my bike to the shops, through the forest and over the mountains. I have to say, 15 degrees Celsius is my rule and I also like sunshine and blue skies... imagine a wonderful picnic in the countryside...

And it's not far until the Easter holidays... 14 days from tomorrow is Green Thursday.

I made these three cards, it was a suggestion from Kathy. Thank you because it was fun and I sent one of the cards to Kathy.

And I saw Tchaikovsky's wonderful ballet "Sleeping Beauty". It was absolutely amazing. I'll include a link for anyone who's interested in learning about it.

At the opera I climbed the many stairs to the third tier and thought... oh dear, I hope I see something at all...

I'm so glad I listened to the ticket sales service and bought this last ticket... because it was great to enjoy the action on stage with such a wonderful view from above.

Photos of what's happening on stage are not welcome and I wouldn't have had the leisure to take any, so you can click on the official video from the Opera House above if you like.

We also treated ourselves to a girls' evening and went to the dance company "Rosas" at the Hellerau Center for the Arts. There was a performance with folk singer Meskerem Mees.

             That was very impressive.

And what else belongs to a girls' night... besides some wine...

I made cake... and one of the men made us...

Do you also have an ice cream maker? I don't have one... yet.

                                            Hug from Viola
