Bodie

So Mindy left to pick me up from the ball field, then I drop her off at the auditorium for Show Choir practice, leaving the four younger kids at home. When I arrive, about fifteen minutes after Mindy left, this is what I found in the Kitchen:

What I did on my day off.

Here's Aidan taking a photo op in front of Jand J's in Caliente. He thought this was pretty cool, but the statue freaked Bodie out so he wouldn't go near it!

Aidan enjoying his first experience with the clippers. I'm afraid I may have created a monster. We'll see if his hair and the rest of his siblings locks change lengths mysteriously in their sleep in the next few weeks.

Also ran to Caliente and got an ice cream for my big helper. He was a good boy today (another reason to put it on the blog tonight)

Near the end of the cut Aidan told Derrek to get him a pair of scissors and the spray bottle. I put the kibosh on little idea. After all I didn't want to lose part of my right ear, or my left eyeball.

We used a number 2 attachment for my summer buzz. Just in time for it to snow tomorrow! Note to self: check the weather BEFORE getting your summer doo.

Derrek was also very helpful and supervised the whole operation

Aidan was especially concerned that we get the hair just right.

Here we are at our community theater called "Little Off Broadway". This first number is "Nothin' Like a Dame" from South Pacific.

Then there's Mindy in "Oklahoma!" She choreographed this one.

Then after that you can see me in the background in my yellowish vest and afro in "Shake Your Groove Thing!" I was one of the cast who could say that I actually DID have an afro back in the 70s. The next pic is of Mindy in her 70s outfit, woo hoooo!

Me in "Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat" from Guys and Dolls. Mindy also choreographed this.

Me as a drunk in "Belly Up to the Bar" from Annie Get Your Gun. I was told I was a very convincing drunk! I had done some, uh, case studies in the E.R. so I felt really in character. One lady even gave me an A.A. card after the show.

Then our final number, "One" from Chorus Line. Had a great time! Loved everyone in it, we all had a blast! Now back to the rest of my life!
