Sweet summer came to a close & back to school we went. This year we range from freshman in high school to kindergartener.  A big year for us!  Also exciting was Megan making the freshman volleyball team!  With volleyball happening, 3 playing soccer, 3 in choir, 2 scouts and a ballerina, we are rarely sitting around looking for something to do! And just like that, Halloween already came and went! And yes, we still had 4 trick or treaters!!

Back to school day 2...

Summertime!! My favorite time of the year! The kids finished up school & we hit the road for a Midwest tour.  It had been too long since we had been out to visit so many family members & friends! We had a blast :)

 

 

First stop: Chicago with the Burgdorf crew

Third stop_Hamilton to visit the Shrodes & meet the newest cousin-Kali!!

 

Stop 4: A tour up the West Coast of Michigan, stopping near Traverse City with the Barta family

 

Stop 5: Midland & Owosso to catch up with more of the Barta crew. This awesome group shot was captured at Great Grandma's House!

 

Stop 6: Detroit & a FAIL on pictures!  We were too busy having fun with friends & family to stop to snap photos, but it was so great to catch up with the old crew & swing by & see the old house.  And then we head back home-just in time for Hadley's birthday!!
