Well, hello there! On Christmas I turned 6 months. Hard to believe..but it is the season for it :) I am now up to so many things. I am eating cereal & orange veggies. I can sit by myself for short periods of time. And I am a crawler. I have learned to get up on all fours...and if there is a delicious piece of paper across the room, I will find a way to get over to eat it! I was not scared of Santa or the many relatives that held me over the holidays. I am super laid back and full of smiles...and mom says I am the perfect 4th baby.

on the move???
Hmmm...I may need to let Hadley read the manual so she knows an almost 6 month old is NOT supposed to be doing this yet!!

it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....
Bring on some more Christmas! We made a gingerbread village-a great idea so everyone gets their OWN house-and then off to more lights with the local cousins!

5 months
So, while we've been busy eating turkey and hanging up lights, the 5 month mark has come & gone for our little Hadley. But we've noticed what she's doing--sitting up!
She has just begun and still needs some help, but she is getting to be quite the big girl. And she is trying her hardest to figure out how to crawl. She is more like an inchworm than anything, but she is determined to move.
On the not so good side, she got her first cold :( But she took it like a champ & thankfully seems to be over it & back to sleeping again. Phew!
Boy do we love that sweet lil' face....

busch gardens light tour
Our pictures really do not do this justice. This was an amazing display of lights of every color & sort. There was even snow falling in some places and live penguins. It was a great way to kick off our holiday season!
Sydney couldn't get enough of the lights & penguins in this area. She couldn't even take her eyes off everything long enough to look at the camera! We waited in line for this exhibit-which ended up featuring all of 4 or 5 live penguins-but it was worth it to see the excitement on her face :)
