Hard to believe a year has past since I posted on here. I am going to try to post more regularly. I have just gotten in the routing on posting on facebook, and neglected my poor blog. Since my last post was Easter 2012, I am starting going to start with Easter 2013! We went to the beach, and had a great time as usual. The beach is my happy place, and my kids feel the same. I LOVE being there with my family. If only I could fins a way for Chris to be on a teacher's schedule without being a teacher. It is so nice having a place to go to that is not too far, but far enough to escape the daily grind. I plan on my kids being beach bums most of the summer. It is amazing to me that when we are at the beach without their toys and other stuff, they are just as happy. Makes me realize we do not need all this STUFF!
Here are the kids before the egg hunt at the beach. This picture is pretty typical for this past weekend. Big kids happy and Caroline screaming. Caroline was a little under the weather- and she let the whole world know it!
Here are my three and my sister's two kiddos. They had a blast. Corbin is so proud in this picture because he got to hold baby Frances. He is such a trooper being the only boy with all the girls.
My little man in his jammies ready to go.
Claire making Frances look like an Easter egg.
I bought these little tote baskets from a lady who has a online shop. I think they turned out super cute.
From the deck upstairs I was looking down making sure the kids didn't start hunting eggs until their cousin woke up. Corbin decided to pass the time fishing, Claire went around scoping out the yard.
I love the beach, I love the sand, I love the salt water- I love it all.
They caught a keeper Speckled Trout.
Blowing bubbles on the beach!
I brought all of our play doh. We got it all out and made a huge mess. It was all fun and great until it started raining, and we were trying to get it all put up.
We had a great time with the family. I wish all of my family could have made it. It is always better when everyone is there. Yesterday we had a nice Easter at the Barrow's house. We were hit with the stomach bug, so today I am home with the girls. I have never washed my hands so many times, or sprayed more things with Clorox. Caroline's car seat got a nice scrub, you would be shocked if you saw all the things I found under that thing. So gross!
