It's been a year!

Hard to believe a year has past since I posted on here. I am going to try to post more regularly. I have just gotten in the routing on posting on facebook, and neglected my poor blog. Since my last post was Easter 2012, I am starting going to start with Easter 2013! We went to the beach, and had a great time as usual. The beach is my happy place, and my kids feel the same.  I LOVE being there with my family. If only I could fins a way for Chris to be on a teacher's schedule without being a teacher. It is so nice having a place to go to that is not too far, but far enough to escape the daily grind. I plan on my kids being beach bums most of the summer. It is amazing to me that when we are at the beach without their toys and other stuff, they are just as happy. Makes me realize we do not need all this STUFF!

Here are the kids before the egg hunt at the beach. This picture is pretty typical for this past weekend. Big kids happy and Caroline screaming. Caroline was a little under the weather- and she let the whole world know it!
Here are my three and my sister's two kiddos. They had a blast. Corbin is so proud in this picture because he got to hold baby Frances. He is such a trooper being the only boy with all the girls.
My little man in his jammies ready to go.
Claire making Frances look like an Easter egg.
I bought these little tote baskets from a lady who has a online shop. I think they turned out super cute.
From the deck upstairs I was looking down making sure the kids didn't start hunting eggs until their cousin woke up. Corbin decided to pass the time fishing, Claire went around scoping out the yard.

I love the beach, I love the sand, I love the salt water- I love it all.

They caught a keeper Speckled Trout.
 Blowing bubbles on the beach!
I brought all of our play doh. We got it all out and made a huge mess. It was all fun and great until it started raining, and we were trying to get it all put up.
We had a great time with the family. I wish all of my family could have made it. It is always better when everyone is there. Yesterday we had a nice Easter at the Barrow's house. We were hit with the stomach bug, so today I am home with the girls. I have never washed my hands so many times, or sprayed more things with Clorox. Caroline's car seat got a nice scrub, you would be shocked if you saw all the things I found under that thing. So gross!

Easter 2012

We had a great Easter weekend. We went to the beach and really enjoyed it. The kids really enjoy the beach, and have so much fun when we are there. We played in the sand, our friends came to play for the day, did the neighborhood Easter egg hunt, had a nice Easter lunch with the family, and did a lot of fishing. Corbin and Claire both really like to fish. Corbin is so patient, and could sit out there watching his bobber for hours. I am so glad that they love the beach as much as I do. Growing up we went to the beach every summer, and I have a lot of really great childhood memories from Galveston. My kids will too.

We also had a very nice Easter dinner with Chris's family on Sunday. My kids were very spoiled all weekend long!

Spring Break 2012

First let me start with Corbin's first tball pic of the year. He is on the Astros this year, and is having a lot of fun. His first game was last night. All those little boys in uniforms is just adorable.

I got these super cute shirts made from someone on ETSY. On the front they say Corbin's sister, and then the girls names are on the back. Totally cute. They looked precious.

Spring Break was the best. We were at the beach the whole week and loved every bit of it. The kids got ot spend time with their cousins, which was a lot of fun. Corbin got to fish a lot which is one of his favorite things in the world to do. We all had a lot of fun, and were super sad to see the week come to an end. I am so thankful that my parents have a beach house for all the family to go to. My kids are so very lucky.

Here are my three beach loving kids ready to ride the golf cart to the beach. They love the golf cart.

I wish Sophie was in this picture :(. Here are the cousins on a shell hunt one night.

The first day we were there was super foggy. The kids still had fun. The rest of the week was beautiful and full of sunshine.

Spring Break

I am thankful to spend SPRING BREAK with these three cute kids. How Lucky am I to have these three sweet things.

What we have been up to... being outside. Each and every day we spend as much time as possible outside. I pull in th edriveway with the kids, they jump out of the car and stay outside until I make them come in for dinner. Between the trampoline, basketball net, hose, sidewalk chalk and their bikes they are set. I am SO glad we got a driveway gate last year, probably the best money we have ever spent. It gives them so much safe space to play, and as they are getting bigger, and wanting to be outside more- it is totally necessary.

I look forward to beign off for the week- I am HOPING the weather cooperates, and we dont get washed out.

Catch up!

Been busy as usual! We never seem to slow down around here. The kids are all doing well, and are as cute as ever.
Corbin getting the "golden" ball at his football game! He is OBSESSED with football! He asks everyday if there is a football game on TV, Chris is in heaven!
Claire likes to "hug" caroline for pictures. Caroline does not feel the same.

All the kids that went trick or treating with us... I love all these kiddos.
Love this sweet mama's girl! She has become such a mommy's girl! I can't be out of her sight when we are at home, or she starts yelling for me.
This is Chris' birthday cake. I had to get hearts, stars and footballs so that all three kids would be happy!

Claire and Caroline were not happy at this point! I still love the picture though.
My three kids DANCED the entire night. I was worried their little legs would be sore. I am telling you they were shaking it all night. They didn't stop moving until it was over. It was pretty cute to watch.
Corbin's favorite move was running and sliding across the dance floor. He did it ten million times.

The cutest ring bearer, flower girls and best man I have ever seen :)
