I saw these native flowers while we were on a bush walking trip in the Blue Mountains. These flowers are wattle but I am not exactly sure what kind as there are over six hundred different species ranging from small shrubs to tall trees.

My World Tuesday
These are called fairy penguins, the smallest species of penguins about 43 cm tall (16 in) found in Australia and NZ. They are also known as little blue penguins or blue penguins. Photo was taken in Featherdale Wildlife Park.
