The FOA presents Ramona Quimby

Ella auditioned for Ramona Quimby at the FOA and made it!  More than half of who auditioned got cut so we were excited for her!  She was cast as a 3rd grader, a girl scout, in the Halloween party dance, Shades of Ramona, and the wedding scene.  One of her favorite parts was the 7 costume changes she had.  Opening night they came to get me and a bag of ice.  When I headed downstairs I was met with the warning that Ella might have broken her foot on the stairs. Thankfully, after wrapping it up and medication, she was ok to go on stage.  It was just a sprain, still painful but not broke.
The best audiences were the school shows.  There were over 1200 kids that saw the play during those 2 performances, the place was packed.
As a keepsake, Ella took her playbill around to all the cast for them to autograph.

Here are some action shots from the play.

Her little friend, Chloe, played Ramona and many people thought it was Ella.  They do favor a lot.

Eva Grace JO Volleyball photos

We had a very sweet team, my favorite JO team yet.  EG had fun playing and did improve. The rest of the family liked traveling to the different cities and exploring when games weren't going on.

Teammate Becca, Rival Elaina, and Coach Carr (who is ASU's AllStar.  The girls don't even know how cool she really is!)

Big sisters were there, that was about it.  Little Sisters really didn't have a clue volleyball was being played.  This picture was the tournament before Valentine's Day.  They transformed a whole corner into their craft room and made their class Valentine's.
My phone isn't the best at action shots, but these are my 2 best from the whole season.  She was the setter.  Her serve was awesome!!!

Charity Ball, aka Adult Prom

This was our 2nd year to go but my first year to help put it on as a member of JA.  Junior Auxiliary has been wonderful.  I have met so many new people that I will treasure for many years to come and the organization does some fabulous things for many kids in our community.  It was as fun working to put on the event as actually going to the event.  Our table was the best one there with the Ramseys, Boxes, Bullingtons and Pulliams!  We got home at 1pm and felt hung over the next day, not from drinking but from staying out so late.

Look!  It's chocolate covered BACON!  On. A. Stick!  This is the best day ever!

Me, Jenny, Pulliam, Amanda, Jessica- my FOA friends.  We tried to get our handsome dates in the photo but they liked the other corner of the room better.
Most of my provisional JA class.  Truly a great group of girls.  Class of 2016.

My 2 best friends :).
