First Day of School, 9th, 7th and 4th. 2016-17

Open house at the JR HIGH and SR HIGH for Eva Grace and Emma.  Comparing schedules is always a must.  (left: Sadie, Eg, Becca.  Right:  Becca, Graci, EG)
Today's run down...
Ella (4th grade) thinks Mr. Russ (SRO officer) is the bomb! She didn't think the same of being called Eva Grace.
Eva Grace, first day of Jr. High, heard a lot of Emma stories from teachers.
Emma, first day of High school, spent the day lost in her new school and is currently doing her own paperwork, afraid that her parents won't turn it in on time. Ha. All three had a good first day.

Ella made a stepping stone for her school's new outdoor classroom.

During school Aunt Sarah brought the girls a new devotional book and gift cards for cupcakes from Gigi's.  It was a great end to this busy day.

Aunt Jewitt's Memorial Service

Aunt Jewitt's memorial service was truly a celebration of her life.  Abby and Les came down for a brief memorial celebration in Missouri.  Leslie and Mary came in along with several other friends and family from the area.  Eva Grace immediately bonded with Abby (who might have "accidently" convinced her to sample some wine).  She also bonded with Dean, who played in  Mamma Mia in New York. We all enjoyed our visit, Jewitt would have loved bringing us all together.
