Super Fun 4th of July Weekend!

This weekend was so amazing. It was the first time both Jerry and I had the entire weekend off including the Monday after. We started off Friday night taking the kids to "Toy Story 3" and then had dinner at Costa Vida! Yummy! Then Saturday, we went swimming at Nana's pool at her apartment. Then later that day we visited Aubrey and Travis and their new baby girl, Molly. Josh and Stephanie came down as well, so we went with them and Nana and Bronti to "The Last Airbender" that night. Sunday night we headed to the Schaeler's for family night, shared thoughts about our country and freedoms, the kids sang a little song about the Fourth of July, we threw down some "Snappers", and then drove around on the way home and caught a few fireworks in the sky.



Then Monday, Jerry and I got a date night. We went to the Melting Pot, got sooooo full from the amazingly yummy food, and then got to see "Eclipse".








3 movies in one weekend, was really fun and we will probably never get to do that again. We spent so much time together, it was so great for our little family.

Easter 2010

Easter Was BUSY! The kids were actually sick that weekend, but were alright for Easter Sunday. We decorated sugar cookies, colored eggs, went to the Barney Family Annual Egg Hunt, Watched Conference, visited grandparents and family. Exhausting, but very fun! Now we just have way too much candy!

Hope for the Human Race

So for lunch today, I decided to go to Wendy's real quick. As I headed to the drive thru, I had to kind of wait for traffic to clear a path, I had my blinker on letting everyone know that I was waiting to get into the line. Well, the way I was facing I had to let the other flow of traffic go past and a lady went ahead of me before I could get in the drive thru line. Anyways, I finally get in line, place my order, then when I go to pay, the girl at the window said, "You don't owe anything. The lady ahead of you paid for your meal because she cut you in line!" How nice is that! I didn't really even care she went ahead of me and that sure surprised me! So maybe there is hope after all! That truly made my day! Thank you mystery woman ahead of me in the drive thru!

My Mighty Mite

Briana has been in Mighty Mites at the Barney Family Sports Complex. She is having a blast! They teach the kids different skills and sports. They have done soccer, basketball, football, kickball, and obstacle courses. Briana can't wait for saturdays! She is still all girl, but does a great job at all the sports! I think if she puts her mind to it, and doesn't get too into dance or cheerleading, she will be a great athlete! Only time will tell!
