..Summer time fun..

Summer has com and has almost gone. We have been busy at our house and have enjoyed the time Brent has had off school! I have had a crazy work schedule and have enjoyed the time off I have had! Here are some pictures from our adventures this summer!

My handsome little man! Who celebrated his birthday 2 weeks before this picture was taken! This is his third 4th of July at the Bar D. It was a lot of fun! He loved the music this year.

Waiting for the show to start!

Loss...

A lot has happened over the past 4 months. We traveled to Utah 3 times and Idaho once. Most recently we traveled to Utah for my 2 grandmothers funerals. One grandma adopted, the other my moms mom.
Pauline has been part of my life before I was ever even thought of! She and Papa Don live right across from my parents. They were good friends with my dads parents and have been there for us all growing up! They stepped in when Pa and Grandma Wright passed away. They are the grandparents my youngest 2 siblings know on that side of our family. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 18, 2011.
Grandma Petersen is my moms mother. She has been in bed on and off for a long time due to a broken back that was not diagnosed until 20 years later. She has been in a nursing home for the past 4 years. On Monday August 15 she was admitted to the ICU of Timpanogous hospital in Orem, Utah and on Thursday August 18 she passed away peacefully holding my grandpas hand.
Both funerals were last week. Paulines on Tuesday and grandmas on Wednesday. Both looked so peaceful and at rest. Both suffered so much over the past few years. I am so grateful for the time I spent with both of these wonderful women! And I am so grateful that I know both are at peace and that families are forever!

April fun...

April has been a busy , but fun month! We celebrated Easter on Saturday because I had to work Saturday and Sunday night. We had a picnic and egg hunt at My in laws house. The boys all got kites for Easter, so after the picnic and egg hunt we flew the kites! It was so much fun!

Then on Tuesday April 26th, we celebrated my dear mother in laws birthday! We took her to Olive Garden, her favorite restaurant for her birthday dinner. Then we went back to her house for cake! I didn't take pictures of the balloon or flowers and stuffed animal we took to her work...I just thought about that! Anyways...I uploaded the pictures backwards, so Judy's birthday is first!

**Beware...Lots of pictures to follow!**

Me and my sweetheart! I love this man more then I could ever have imagined! My second love...I love him more then life itself! I never knew love like this before he came into my life!

A beautiful day for a picnic!

Today was such a beautiful day and I didn't have to work, so we took advantage of it and drove up choke cherry canyon for a picnic...Our first this year!

Braxton had so much fun throwing rocks and NOT getting in trouble! He went on a hike with his daddy and then they came back to get me and take me on a walk to show me some coyote bones. Towards the end though he started picking up the shards of broken glass...Which are broken alcohol bottles which are all over up there...but only the blue and green pieces! lol

Here are some pictures from our fun!

My cute boy! He is holding a robin egg that his nanny and poppy found in their yard. He is obsessed with his "baby birdie" And here is Tinkerbelle sunning herself on our picnic!
She is so weird! She does this in the morning sun that signs through the living room window also!
Hoping some one will throw her a scrap of chicken..or something

We hiked to the petrified wood cave....
Poppy and bones...Poppy said it used to go all the way across the canyon, and you can see where the other side still sits in its cave.

You can see the other cave to Poppy's left.

And that's all for now! :)
