Week of Fun
This week has been eventful. My mom, sis and nephew came to visit. We dropped Logan off to BYU Football camp, then shopped till we dropped, went to the movies, laughed our heads off. We made homemade ice cream, went out to eat. We visited the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house, dyed my hair and attended a wedding reception. We baked in the sun while the kids swam, and, mainly, we just enjoyed each others company. All that and no pictures to show for it! How lame! I was really having more fun and just living the moments without worrying about photo ops.

Elise, on her birthday!
Here's a few pics taken on Elise's 7th Birthday! She is so adorable and beautiful - am I biased or what?! And, she's just tickled pink over her new ipod. And she hasn't stopped listening to it either.

Where in the world is Cosmo?
This afternoon, around 4, we pulled up to our house to find about 4 sherriff's and a crowd of people looking at the side of our house. My first thought was maybe someone crashed into our house, but, instead, we found a COUGAR in our window well! She was spotted at the top of the neighborhood earlier today by a young girl who then ran to her parents. Then, it dashed down the hill to our house, where they tranquilized it, pulled it out and are now driving it back into the wild.

Happy Birthday, Elise!
Elise is 7 today! I can't believe it! She is so excited! Elise is such a delightful child, for the most part! She is very kind and loving to her brothers and to her friends. She always makes everyone feel included. She loves dance and listening to music and reading. She also LOVES swimming - I can hardly get her out of the pool!
We're so happy Elise is part of our family, and we hope she has a very Happy Day!

Primary Woes
I am the Primary Chorister now. I love my new calling, really. I've been doing a lot of research online and reading books, but I'm always looking for more great ideas. If you have any, please share!

Swimming on Memorial Day
We had a bunch of family over on Memorial Day for a BBQ and Swimming. Fun, fun . . . and you'll notice that I'm in a blogging mood 'cause I'm catching up on all the past 2 weeks of family activities now!
Fishing, Part IV
Last Friday, we went fishing near Midway on the Provo River. Later that evening, we journeyed down the river, closer to Provo, and built a camp fire, roasted our tin foil dinners and hotdogs and smores and enjoyed company with Mark & Arianne and kids. Fun times. Here's some pics of the scenery and the foreboding sky. We only got a few drops and the storm was fast moving. It was really a beautiful day. Andrew and Elise are my animal or, rather, worm activists. They did not want Ben to hook or cut or do anything to kill the worms. Matthew said once when Ben was tugging at his line, "Dad, you caught an alligator!" And, while we were driving, out of the blue, Andrew said, "I spot a racoon!" They were too funny. We had a great time even though we didn't catch even one darn fish. They said more funny things but I can't seem to remember right now. The following are a few picture posts detailing our trip.
