Today is the day before Valentine's day. I've never been much of a V-day person. Guess it's cause I didn't have anyone to celebrate it with. But that changed. February 13th, 2007, was one of the best days of my life. Brenton proposed. I thought I knew it was coming, but he caught me by surprise. And I loved every minute of it. He wanted to go have a "picnic" at the park. Remember: This is Provo, Utah, February. Freezing cold- but very little snow on the ground. We picked up Fazoli's for dinner, drove to the park, ate it. He answered questions about what I should wear the NEXT day, when he was supposed to propose. Then, we cuddled on a blanket and watched a movie on the computer. He had a copy of "RETURN TO ME" so we start watching it. I can't hear it, so I try to turn up the volume. It doesn't work. I try to turn up the volume. It's up as high as it goes. He keeps trying to stop me. I should have seen it coming. Fifteen minutes into the show, it is interrupted with a video of Brenton and I. Pictures of our past- alone and together. It was perfect. He pulled out the ring, said he loved me, and asked me to marry him. I started to cry. I said yes! *One of the most romantic times ever*.
I love my man. He is amazing. I'm so grateful he asked me to be his. I couldn't imagine life without him. He makes everything so wonderful.
