Our State Fair is a Great State Fair!

Yesterday was a fun day! Sometimes we get so busy that we forget to spend time as a family! Brenton took it off work and we spent the day as a family! We slept in, had a delicious breakfast, ran some errands, and went to the State Fair. It was a nice break in our normal routine to enjoy being together! Admission was 3 cans of food per adult, so we got a steal of a deal getting in. We saw dancing pics, a turkey race, lots of fun exhibits, visiting a petting zoo, fed butterflies, played in the toddler zone, saw a horse show, and rode on a couple rides. Bryson and Aimee rode a train ride. I wasn't going to have Aimee do it but she followed Bryson in and sat down. She loved it! We also rode the Ferris wheel. Brenton asked Bryson what his favorite part was and he said the "fair wheel" because it went up high in a circle like this (and he proceeded to show us with his hands). My pics aren't the best.. I wish the kids would have looked at the camera while riding the train, but they were having too much fun! Aimee had a meltdown at the end of the day because she was so tired, and we almost lost the kids' blankets (which we aren't sure any of us could survive) but all ended well!

New Happenings....

Life is just normal around these parts right now. We have just been hanging out at home, having fun, and working hard. We have started a few new projects for Christmas and the house, and that is keeping us busy. The kids are still as cute as ever. They are so much fun. Somedays, they are little stinkers, but we love them anyways. Bryson is such a sponge. He learns so many new things every day. He is constantly asking us questions. He loves to think. He loves to sing songs like Popcorn Popping, Itsy Bitsy Spider, and the Bumblebee song (thanks to Grandma Pam). He still loves cars, trucks, tractors, airplanes, and trains. Bryson loves to take the cushions off the couch. It drives me crazy, but he has fun playing on them (with Aimee). Aimee is growing so much. She loves her big brother and copies almost everything he says and does. She speaks many new words every day. I love it when she calls Bryson in to come and eat or do other things.I can't count them all. She loves to give hugs and kisses. She is learning about her time out chair and how she doesn't want to sit there. Aimee loves to sing and dance. I look forward to putting her in classes when she gets a little bigger.
The kids play well together for the most part. I love hearing them giggle and laugh together.
We are looking forward to all the holidays coming up and being able to spend time together as a family, as well as with our extended family!
Here are a few random pics of the kiddos:
