My Mommy

Today is my mom's birthday! We celebrated by having a nice family dinner... It was a lot of fun! My grandparents, Uncle , and long-lost cousin, Cami came too!
I will post pics later, when I can get on my other computer!

My mom is wonderful. She is a great mom and grandma. She is an excellent cook. She has been on Spring Break the last couple of weeks and was sure to spend time with me (shopping, teaching me how to make bread, etc.) and time with the kiddos too (trip to Chuck-E-Cheese). She LOVES her family and wants to surround herself with them always.
I am so thankful for all she does for me and my family. We sure do love her!

UPDATE!!!

I'm behind, like always. Oh well. I am coming to realize I can only do so much :)
Hopefully, it's enough!
Since I haven't given an update for over a month- I think I'll go back in time to then and then continue on... I hope it all works in ONE LONG POST.

First of all, we got to go to Schnepf Farms with Jeremy, Lisa, Zane, and Alia. It was the Peach Blossom Festival. We had a fun time walking around, riding the train, and eating a peach cinnamon roll. Zane and Bryson are so cute together. I'm so glad we are close so we can do things together!

Then, also in February, we had our first out-of-town visitors come stay with us! Breanne, Mike, and Baby Evan came to spend a weekend with us! We had soooooo much fun with them! It was great to spend time with them, It's been way too long. We finally got to meet Baby Evan. He is so cute! Even Aimee and Bryson loved him. We even got to go on a double date- to Manuel's and Dave and Buster's. We had a Wilson get-together at our house on Sunday, and spent Monday at Grandma Great's house. We always have fun when we are there.

Then, we went to the Phoenix Zoo with Lisa and Jeremy and family again! Judd came too. There was a chance of rain, but the weather was PERFECT! Lots of animals were actually out, and we were able to see them (even the lion and tiger)! It's so nice having family close, so we can build memories together!

Unfortunately, along with all the fun, we've passed around sicknesses a lot! March has been rather uneventful. We've spent lots of time at home- recovering, with a few adventures here and there. The kids LOVE getting out and going to the park. We have one really close, so we walk there almost daily.

We also had a visit from Hartley, Jason, Halle, and Evve a couple weeks ago. We haven't seen them in a long time and always have fun when we're together! Thanks for coming, guys!

We've been busy!!! We've had family parties in between all this stuff. We LOVE spending time with family. They are the best! We love spending time with each other.
As for updates on us, Brenton continues to work full time and he is doing very well at it! He is also in the middle of one of his 13 6-week courses he has for his Masters program. He is doing well in it as well, with a high A! We enjoy all the time we get when he's not working, commuting, or studying. Brenton was also called recently as an 11 year olds Assistant Scout Leader. He will be teaching the 11 year old boys/girls on Sunday, and then assisting with Scouts on Wednesday evenings.
I love staying home with the kiddos. Some days are better than others, but we have fun together. I am now the Cub Committee Chair for our Cub scout program in our ward. I am learning a lot about it. We are all-of-the-sudden immersed in Scouting, which will be good, so we will be prepared for Bryson when he turns 8!
Bryson is such a good boy. He has become my good friend. He loves to talk, dance, and run circles. His love for cars/trucks/planes/trains/tractors continues. We are working on teaching him obedience and sharing with his sister. He really surprises us sometimes with how much he already knows about his Heavenly Father and Jesus.
Aimee is all spunk. Ever since she got sick in February, she has become quite the mama's girl. She wants me attention all the time, and she wants to be held. She is talking a lot more, though we don't understand what she is saying. She has started shaking her head "no" when she doesn't want something. We love her so much.

Being A Mother...

I was just reading a blog and something popped into my mind. Really, you don't have to have children to be a MOTHER. My dear sweet cousin and her husband are hoping to adopt. I know none of my words will do them justice, because they are that wonderful. I look up to her so much (even though I am older). Honestly, she is already a mother, just waiting for her child to join her family.

Do me a favor, check out their adoption blog HERE . Check them out. Tell your friends about them. Write about them on your blog. Put their button on your blog. Anything. They are just waiting for THEIR baby. And when they get him/her, that baby is going to be one of the most blessed ever.
