Today was Aimee's 9 month check up.
Weight: 23 lbs 12 oz.
Height: 30 in.
Head: 37 1/2 cm.
She's above 95% for everything!!! I have a big girl. She is growing and developing well though. To compare, Bryson's head circumference was 40 cm.... so you can tell, Aimee is catching up to him, quickly!!!

Happenings......
So, I'm not going to pretend that anyone thinks me kids are as cute as I do. Even though they are the cutest kids ever..... and therefore, I'm not going to pretend that I will get thousands of comments on my blog about how cute they are.... I just need to remind myself that the general purpose of this blog is for me to keep a small history of our family....and if anyone cares and reads this and decides to comment, well, that's just an added bonus. So, here are pics of the last couple of weeks....
Here's Bryson doing what he loves to do... play with cars and trucks. Seriously, he could sit there and play with cars, trucks, trains, and planes all day long.
Aimee - my cute little stander. She loves to walk all over the place (holding on to things). This was taken Friday, October 22nd. I LOVE being able to put bows in her hair (this was the 1st time without a headband).
More of Aimee being cute- Friday before we left for the football game.
Aimee and Bryson before the game.... I love my kids.
Brenton and Aimee at the football game. It was Poston Butte vs. Combs. Poston Butte (us) won 55 to 7 (I believe).
Judd in the marching band. He rocks the snare drum. It was so fun! Jor and Christy and their kids and Lisa and Zane came too! And of course, Grandma and Grandpa Cluff were there. It was great!
Grandpa holding Maims all bundled up. She was so well behaved for being up so late.
Here's Aimee rocking her new WalMart Carseat. She is so big!
Maims loving food. This girl loves to feed herself. I don't know if you can see the potatoes on her head ..... she was a mess!
Bryson sitting by Grandpa last Sunday. Bryson LOVES his grandpa.... I'm grateful that my kids have been able to develop a relationship with my parents. It's so cute to see them interact.
Bryson eating some yummy brownie/cooke that Lisa brought over Sunday. It was delicious!
On Monday the 25th, Bryson, Aimee, and I went to the zoo with my good friend Alana and her two littler kids! Thanks for taking us! We had a great time!!! Unfortunately, this was the only semi-ok picture I took....
Bryson in the office with grandpa. Oh my goodness I can't get this kid away sometimes...
Aimee's new tricks....
I caught her doing this and I put her back down...... and then....
I found her up 5 stairs. Crazy girl!!! Now I definitely have to watch the stairs.... Aimee turned 9 months yesterday (Oct. 26th, 2010). I can't believe how much she is growing! She has 6 teeth now. She's definitely a light in our life.
As for Brenton, he is working at U of P. He's doing great! He also JUST started his Masters in Psychology yesterday (Oct. 26th). I am so proud of him and for all his is doing! He's going to be extremely busy, but it will be worth it!
Brenton and I teach the 6-7 year olds at church. It stresses me out a lot- and Brenton has been a huge help by teaching most times! I just get so overwhelmed.... I am also an activity days leader over the 10-11 year old girls in my ward.
I think that's it for now.....
Hope you enjoy reading that as much as I enjoyed writing it! HA!

Love Language
I've always been intrigued with the 5 love languages and learning your love language... the past few months I've been doing more study on them and I've learned a lot about myself....
The 5 love languages (By Gary Chapman) are:
Words of Affirmation
Quality Time
Receiving Gifts
Acts of Service
Physical Touch
Mine is definitely quality time. To me, love = spending time together (whether this be husband, kids, family, friends, etc.)
What's yours?!

Update
So these are a few current pics of the kids. The ones of Aimee in her white dress and yellow flower in her hair are from yesterday. She had her last Physical Therapy session for her torticollis. She's all better now! I'm so grateful that the therapy helped so much. It was so nice for Bryson and I as well. Bryson was able to play with all the toys there and I was able to get the kids out of the house. It was so much fun and we will miss it! Our PT, Laura, was great!
Aimee is getting so big! She crawls all over the place and stands up too. She loves to walk from couch to couch and to the tables etc. She's cruising! Aimee is always busy, except when she eats or sleeps. She is becoming more and more independent too- she likes to feed herself her meals, which makes it difficult for me to come up with things for her to eat! She's a very happy girl who loves to laugh at her brother. Aimee loves music too. My parents recently bought Rock band and Aimee loves to dance to it.
Bryson is growing up so fast! My little 2 year old is so smart. He learns new words all the time. He is a good big brother for the most part. We are working on tantrums and he is having his fair share of time outs- which seem to work for us! He is a snacker, and we have a hard time getting him to eat his meals. He brings so much laughter to our family. He likes to read books at night before bed.
I feel so blessed to be able to stay home with these two angels! They teach me so much everyday. I love them and consider them my best friends, next to Brenton of course.
Brenton is enjoying his job at Univ. of Phoenix. He is an enrollment counselor and spends the days speaking to students and potential students. His manager and team are awesome, and he enjoys his job! When he is not at work, he is home with us helping out with anything that needs to be done. He is a great father and husband! We love the weekends when we have him home with us. We treasure our time together as a family.

Birthday Party!
A couple of weeks ago we celebrated our nephew, Hunter's, 3rd birthday! He's the oldest of all the grandkids :) Happy Birthday, Hunter! WE LOVE YOU!
We went to a park out here where we live and had pizza and snacks and let the kids play. Bryson had fun running around and playing on the playground. It was so much fun!

A little over a Year Ago....
This morning I caught myself thinking of just a little over a year ago. (read here if you don't remember)... I came down to AZ to visit my family with Bryson. We drove down here with my Aunt Leslie... and just a few days later, Brenton had an emergency appendectomy. It was a really tough time for our little family, but we were blessed through countless earth angels who helped us. I wanted to post a thank you to all those people who helped in any way.
Thanks to:
Grandma and Grandpa Foy who paid for my flight to get back to Brenton.
Mom and Dad Cluff for keeping Bryson for a few days so I could be with Brenton.
Mom and Dad Jensen for bringing Bryson up to Utah and staying and watching Bryson and helping us for the week.
Aunt Leslie for sitting at the hospital while Brenton was in surgery and afterwards until I could get there.
Kami and Jason for picking me up from the airport and hurrying me to the hospital.
Uncle Bruce for driving Brenton to the Dr. and to the ER and staying with him.
Bishop Radmall for going to the hospital and keeping me updated.
Jessica and Sam for bringing me food, taking my car to the hospital, etc etc etc.
My RS Pres Leslie for bringing me food and helping me clean my house.
EQ Pres Jonathan Chapman for bringing his recliner for Brenton to sleep in for a couple weeks.
The Drs. and Nurses at Timpanogos Hospital who knew exactly what to do and when to do it. They caught the appendicitis just in time and took such great care of Brenton in the hospital.
I know there are other people I am not naming, but I want to just give a big thank you to everyone for the physical and emotional support you all offered in every way. This was a dark spot in my life, but you all brightened it! It strengthened my testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ and that he does send people into our lives to help us. I am thankful to have such wonderful family and friends who support and lift us. Thank you for your sacrifices and for showing us what it means to be family and friends! Although this time in our life was difficult, we felt uplifted and blessed because of all of you.

I can't get this song out of my head.
More holiness give me, more strivings within.
More patience in suffering, more sorrow for sin.
More faith in my Savior, more sense of His care.
More joy in His service, more purpose in prayer.
More gratitude give me, more trust in the Lord.
More zeal for His glory, more hope in His Word.
More tears for His sorrows, more pain at His grief.
More meekness in trial, more praise for relief.
More purity give me, more strength to o’ercome,
More freedom from earth-stains, more longings for home.
More fit for the kingdom, more useful I’d be,
More blessèd and holy, more, Savior, like Thee.
What song inspires you?

A Little Rant.... Feel Free to Skip.
I am so sick and tired of being told I didn't do what was best for my kids because I haven't breastfed them, or even because I had them c-section instead of vaginally. What right does any mother have to put down another because of choices, or in some cases, lack of choices when it comes to how to birth their child and feed them? Maybe it's me just trying to justify, but Brenton and I prayed and struggled with our decisions for some time before we made them. It was not easy, but it was worth it, because it made my little family happier. In our case, breastmilk was almost the "enemy" because it made my kids sick. We tried everything we could think of. How dare anyone tell me that breastmilk is better and will keep my kids from being sick etc. My kids have been healthier than most breast-fed babies I know. And just because I didn't breastfeed, doesn't mean that I didn't bond with my children. I am a good mother. Every decision I have made since long before they were born, I have considered them in. I love my children- don't you dare put me down. I feared long ago being judged because of these decisions, and it hurts. As a mother, we are all supposed to be nurturing and loving- and not only to our own children, but everyone around us. I know I'm not perfect- but I LOVE MY CHILDREN! How dare anyone judge me because I have formula-fed my babies!!!! What constitutes being a mother? Because if vaginal deliveries and breastfeeding is all it takes, I fail. Instead, I choose to love my children, teach them right from wrong, and spend most of every day playing and taking care of them.

Potty Training?
Bryson is almost 27 months old.... When am I supposed to potty train? I feel like I'm kind of behind on it, but since we are living with my parents, I didn't want to destroy their house with his accidents.
I'm planning on doing the 3 day potty training. Intense, but good.
What do you think?
