More Cuteness....
You might ask what's going on in my life besides the kids..... but the truth is, not much. These kids are our life! Being a stay at home mom, it's almost all I do. I LOVE IT! For an update, Bryson is as skinny as ever. He is starting to worry me, cause he just doesn't eat enough! He talks a whole bunch now, and picks up on new words ALL the time. He is a little copy cat. Bryson loves to play with his sister and he is learning to be soft and share with her. He is hitting his 2 year old tantrums. He still loves his cars, trucks, trains, and planes. I can't believe how much he is growing- definitely not my little baby anymore! Aimee is now rolling over all the time. She can scoot backwards, and is learning to get up on her arms. She'll be crawling soon! She loves to sit up too, and can do so for a long time. After 6 long months of not getting more than 4 hours of sleep at a time (at night), we moved her downstairs to sleep. She has been doing great! She now goes 11 hours without eating. Mommy is a lot more happy!

Urgency
Do you ever feel this great sense of urgency in preparing your family for life? I am feeling quite overwhelmed right now. ...thinking about all that life holds in store for my two precious children and what I need to do to prepare them. Will I be good enough? Topics included in the urgency range from year supply to education to testimony.... so much ahead that will be both scarier and sweeter than before. Times are changing. What to do?
A couple scriptures come to mind...
D&C 38:30 "But if ye are prepared ye shall not fear."
D&C 88:119 "Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God."
So much to do.....

Brenton's JOB
I just realized I hadn't written on here like I had facebook...
Brenton received a job offer on Monday of this week.
He will be working at University of Phoenix as an Enrollment Counselor, so if anyone is looking to go to school, let him know!
This job offer came after HUNDREDS of hours of job hunting, resume-editing, work.
He has been without a job since the end of December, 2009.
We feel VERY grateful that this job has come up, and look forward to life being employed once again!

Schooling
I never thought I'd be the one to say this. I said I would "never" home school my kids. Now I am considering it. With the many experiences I've had in school, family and friends' experiences, having teachers in the family and seeing it from their perspective, and the way things are going in our world, I am seriously thinking about it. Bryson is 2, so we have a few years, and a LOT could change by then (one way or another). So, I'm debating public schools vs. charter schools vs. homeschooling.
I know this is a controversial subject- so many people have varying opinions.... We have family and friends that believe strongly one way or another on this...
but as Brenton and I discussed this the other day, he told me that ultimately, they are our children, and it's a decision we have to make to do what we feel is best for them. So, it'll be between him, me, and our Heavenly Father.
I just hope we can get it right.
