Stats

Yesterday I took both kids in for their checkups- Bryson's 24 months and Aimee's 6 months. I didn't write down all the stats but they go something like this

Aimee:
Weight: 20 lb. 1 oz. 100%
Height: 27 In. (I Think) 75%
Head Circumference: 45 around 90%

Bryson:
Weight: 25 lb. 4 oz. 10%
Height: 35 In. (I Think) 50%
Head Circumference: 49 75%

I might be wrong on these numbers, I didn't get them written down..... oops. So both my kids have big heads. Aimee, only weighs 5 lbs less than her brother! And she's 18 months younger! Aimee is tall for her age (Growing girl) and Bryson is average. He's super skinny, I can't get that kid to eat!

I was a little worried about taking them to the dr. by myself. I usually don't venture out much with them by myself... Plus, they both were cranky and tired. Besides the poopy diaper, hungry baby, 5 shots, 2 screaming children, and evil glares at the doctor it went well!. We were at the Dr. for over an hour and a half. She is our new doctor- the one we were going to moved. She was very thorough with me about them! Luckily, they are both healthy and strong!

My Babies' Daddy

I just wanted to post a little blurb about my fantastic husband, Brenton. He is the BEST father! His kids love him more than anything, including me! He takes time out to play with them. He changes their dirty diapers, gets up with them in the middle of the night, teaches them things, feeds them.... etc. Brenton has done so much to help me with the two kids- and it really has been the extra mile. Besides working, he makes sure he's happy to help me out with the kids, even though I know he's tired and stressed. I love you, Brenton! Thanks for being such a great husband and father!

Bryson's Birthday Bash

On July 15th, 2010 we held Bryson's 2nd birthday @ Chuck-E-Cheese. We were going to have it at McCormick-Stillman Railroad park, but it was too hot, so we changed in at the last minute. It ended up being a good choice!!! We did a Thomas the Train theme, because Bryson LOVES trains!!! We had lots of family there, and missed those that couldn't be there! Bryson is not really an adventurous child (He gets that from Brenton). So, it took him a while to warm up to the rides, but he ended up LOVING riding the Bob the Builder tractor! We even let Aimee in on the fun. All the cousins were so cute playing on the toys and with eachother! Thanks to all the family for coming! We all had a blast!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Bryson

Today, July 15th, 2010, is Bryson's 2nd Birthday. He was born on Tuesday, July 15th, 2008 @ 5:19 AM. He weighed 7 lbs. 9 0z. and was 19 1/2 inches long!

He is such a wonderful addition to our family. We love Bryson for all he is. He is the life of the party. Bryson loves trucks, cars, trains, and planes. He loves to make his baby sister laugh. He loves his thumb, blankie, and mousie. He loves his daddy- a lot! He is talking up a storm, and growing every day. He still is skinny as ever, and isn't a very big eater. He likes to go outside and play.

We are so glad he is part of our family!

Happy 2nd birthday, Bryson!

July 4th Weekend

For July 4th, we went on our annual Cluff family campout. We went to Sharp Creek, like usual :) It's a nice camp area! Because Brenton had to work, he did a lot of driving up and down. I'm so glad he was able to be up there for most of it!
We left Thursday afternoon, and spent the whole weekend there. We drove back Sunday, while most everyone else stayed til Monday. It was great getting to eat good food, play games, visit, and watch the kids play in the dirt. We even got to go to the Fish Hatchery! It's so nice to be able to see so much family we don't normally get to see!
I was really worried about sleeping in a tent with the two babies. Last year, it was freezing! We bought a portable heater and that helped us stay warm on the one cold night. Other than that, the weather at night was great! Naps were hard for the kids, but at night they slept well!
Thanks to everyone for coming and making it a great time!
