ARIZONA TRIP
LONG POST.......
On Monday, June 29th, after Brenton's class, we left for AZ. We left around noon. We picked up my cousin, Nick, to take him with us. We drove down through Kanab, Page, and Flagstaff (It was definitely faster!). We stayed at my in-laws' house that night to visit them. Tuesday, Brenton and I went to the DMV and sat there for 1 and 1/2 hours to change our registration to AZ. After that was done, we went shopping to get Bryson his first birthday cake. Tuesday night, we had a little bday celebration with the Jensen side of the family. Thank you especially to Grandma and Grandpa Jensen for all the food and the fun. Thanks to everyone else for the support and the gifts! Bryson loved them all! I just realized I don't have any pics of Bryson with Grandma and Grandpa Jensen- sad!
Wednesday morning we headed over to my parents' house to help get ready for CAMPING!
My dad was showing the house, so we had to vacate and go do our shopping at WalMart, but that's ok. We spent the day cleaning, packing, and swimming.
Thursday we finished getting ready and headed up to Sharp Creek for our fun camping adventure! It took a while to get everything set up, but it was sooo nice up there.
We even saw Elk across the way that evening. Brenton and Judd and Nick tried to get close, but the Elk ended up running away. Can you see them?!?
We spent the 2nd through the 6th camping. The weather was pretty nice. It rained a few times and cooled us off. We were a little cold at night, but we survived. On the 4th we went up to Heber to the Fireworks show. It's tradition, we try to go all the time. This was the first time Brenton or Bryson had been though. I haven't been since before we were married. At the campout, we had a total of 73 people there off and on. It was soooo fun. I enjoyed visiting with family and friends. It was especially nice to see the family we don't see very much! Bryson LOVED walking around, eating dirt, playing in nature, eating rocks, eating pinecones, etc. You get the drift. He had a blast. He had just started walking all over, and loved his new freedom. He loves being outside. we all enjoyed good food and company. We love playing games, and spent most of our time doing that.
On Monday, we drove back to my parents' house. We unpacked, cleaned up, etc.
This is a picture of Bryson in the bathtub. He fell on the campout and got cut on his eye. His eye was black for a couple days. Injury always happens when you are camping! Not a very good picture, but you get the idea!
That evening, the family came over for a little Birthday party for Bryson. Thanks to Jer and Lisa, Scott and Pam, and Mom and Dad! Thanks for the gifts, we had a lot of fun. We missed Jor and Christy though!
On Tuesday, we headed back to Provo. Because of the hard drive down with Bryson (he screamed a lot), we decided to go through Vegas and spend the night there. We left my parents' house a little before noon and went and had lunch with Mom Jensen. We had Judd and Nick with us! Thanks Mom Jensen for the yummy sandwiches and quesadillas!
We had to stop a few times on the way (for Bryson) and finally made it to Vegas around 7. We got a room through hotels.com at the Orleans. When Brenton went to check in, they upgraded us to a REALLY NICE SUITE! We were all so excited!
We enjoyed good food and some fun while in Vegas. We even got to have a yummy breakfast buffet before leaving for Provo. We arrived home just in time for Brenton to make it to work!
It was a GREAT vacation! We loved it!

First Official Hair Cut
I say "official" because I trimmed some of his hairs a few months ago, but it was NOTHING like this awesome hair cut!
On Friday, June 26th, I was visiting my Aunt Leslie and she graciously offered to cut Bryson's hair. He really needed it done, but I wasn't about to attempt it!
She did a great job! Thanks so much, Aunt Leslie!!!
It took about an hour to get it done. She cut, and I tried to keep him entertained while sitting in the booster seat at the table with food and toys. I think he did a pretty good job!

Happy Birthday to Bryson!
Today is Bryson's 1st Birthday! 1 year ago at 5:19 AM he was born. What a special boy he is! We love him soooo much. I can't imagine my life without him. Bryson is growing and changing so much every day. He's no longer a baby, but a big boy. I look forward to a lifetime more of birthdays with this wonderful, fun, cute, smart, crazy kid.
WE LOVE YOU, BRYSON!
