Arizona Trip

Last Wednesday, Bryson and I flew to Arizona. It was my spring break, and Brenton was busy with finals and work, so it was the perfect opportunity to go! We arrived Wednesday afternoon and hung out at my parents' house that night. Thursday night, we had a MARY KAY party, with my sisters-in-law, mom, and grandma! Friday, Bryson and I visited my friend Tiffany, and her son Byron! We had sooo much fun! Friday afternoon we met up to get the 4 grandkids' picture taken together. Our photographer was awesome and we can't wait to get them back! Friday night, my little bro, Judd, watched Bryson while us adults went to Dave and Buster's (It's a Chuck-E-Cheese's for adults with good food and arcade games). We had a BLAST! I loved it and can't wait to take Brenton there! Saturday, we headed to the PHOENIX ZOO. There were 4 babies in strollers, a 3 year old, 6 year old, a 13 year old, and 10 adults-Jer and Lisa, Jordan and Christy, me, Mom and Dad Cluff, Grandma Cluff, Grandma and Grandpa Foy! We had 2 wheelchairs for 2 grandparents. We were quite the scene! Saturday evening I went out with my best friend, Hartley. I hadn't seen her for a while, so we met up for dinner at Applebee's and visiting! Thanks for coming, Hart! It was great to catch up! Sunday morning we had to drive to Florence and be there by 9 AM for Jerrdan's blessing. Jerrdan is my 4th nephew (Jordan's 2nd son). We then went over to their place for a luncheon. Brenton's parents came over to visit Sunday afternoon. We had a great dinner and a great time visiting! Thanks sooo much for coming to see us! We love you guys! Monday, Bryson and I left for home. The flight was full so Bryson had to ride on my lap. He wasn't thrilled about this, but ended up doing pretty well!
My sister in law, Lisa, brought over some toys for Bryson to play with. That was sooo nice, seeing how we didn't have much with us! Bryson LOVED the Leap Frog table. It played different songs and said things depending on what you touched... We need one now!
Bryson also enjoyed playing with his older cousin, Hunter. The order of the 4 boys is : Hunter-18 months, Bryson-9 months, Zane- 4/12 months, Jerrdan-6 weeks. Since Hunter and Bryson are the mobile ones, they had fun chasing each other around the house. It's so fun to see those boys interact together. I hope they all are best friends!
Overall, it was a fun, busy, quick trip! We had so much fun though. Bryson was cranky and teething, I believe. He had a rough time, but pulled through. We love Arizona, and all our family there! Thanks for letting us come visit, and for all the great memories!

Wicked

On Wednesday, April 8th, we went to WICKED!!! It was the opening night, which was pretty cool. We met with Breane and Mike for dinner at PF Chang's, then we went over to the Capitol Theatre to see it! It was amazing! We loved it! Thanks soooo much, Breanne, for the tickets! The performers were amazing and we loved every minute of it!

#4

Tooth Number 4 has ARRIVED!!!! Today was the lucky day...Bryson was acting especially cranky and Brenton mentioned "Well, maybe he's getting another tooth!" Lo and Behold, I checked him, and his other top one came in! And that's just two days before his 9 month mark!

P.S. I'll update later on our FABULOUS WICKED night....

Sleeping Habits....

Now that Bryson can stand up, he doesn't like taking naps anymore. We put him down, and he just stands up and cries. Lost of times we'll leave him in his crib, even though he's whining. But, after 20-30 minutes we figure he isn't going to settle down, plus, it just gets old! He won't go down much unless he is 1. absolutely exhausted 2. drinking from his sippy cup and/or 3. I'm laying with him on my bed, rubbing his face and not letting him move. After about 5 minutes of this, he falls asleep. I even turn on nice soft music to get him to sleep. Ok, so he isn't supposed to go to sleep with his sippy cup! He wasn't doing it before, it's just recently. Also, taking a nap is nice but I don't want to get him used to this ALL the time and sometimes, I just can't do it! He really isn't that bad, but I'm afraid it might turn in to a problem. Does anyone have suggestions?!?!?

Now, on the flip side. He is getting so smart and brave. He is only holding on with one hand now when he stands, and changes hands sometimes too. Cutie! I love this little boy... the pluses definitely outweigh the minuses, but I just don't want to slip into problems....

Enjoy these cute pics of him standing up! Oh, and one with a few hairs sticking up...He had just woken up from a nap and they wouldn't stay down.

My little alfalfa....
Daredevil! He climbs up on anyone/anything!
Look mom! One hand!!!

Good Friends...Good Visit!

We had the BEST weekend! We went up North to Bear River to visit Phil, Kelli, and Dallin. We had a blast! Besides being spoiled rotten with GREAT food, we watched conference, watched TWILIGHT, played a little ROCK BAND, and stayed up late chatting. Bryson and Dallin had a good time stealing each other's toys. Dallin was a sport to let Bryson play with his hair. I think he's jealous that he doesn't have so much! Thanks for letting us come hang out with you guys! We sure do miss you down here!
I wish I would have take more pics... Here are two that were taken!
Phil's sister, Mary, with Bryson and Dallin.

Sshhh!! The boys were sleeping... Bryson was upstairs in the pack n play, and Brenton, Phil, and Dallin were asleep on the couches... all during conference! They must have been tired...

Best Ever....

I have to send a shout out to my wonderful husband , Brenton. He is amazing. Seriously, I count my blessings. He is going to school full time in Communications so he can finish up and graduate in December. He is doing a big research project in one class, and works really hard in his others. He also works part time at the Law Library. He recently got promoted, he'll start his new duties Spring term. He also takes care of Bryson every morning M-F while I go to work. He cleans, cooks, does laundry, folds clothes, irons, vacuums, does the dishes, etc... Basically, he does EVERYTHING. I am so spoiled rotten and incredibly blessed. He is a wonderful husband and treats me so kindly. He is a WONDERFUL daddy and Bryson just adores him!

Thanks baby, for being the best! I love you! My life is blessed because you are in it!
