Challenge 21 ... "Sleigh Bells Ring...

... are you list'nin'?
In the layyyyyn,  snow is ..."
"Jingle Bells ... Jingle Bells ... Jingle All The Way!
Oh What Fun It Is To ..."
"Ding Dong Merrily On High!
In Heav'n The Bells Are Ringing!"

We've given you a few, not so subtle, clues to our theme this week and you'll have quickly sussed that we want to see jingly-jangly dingly-dangly bells on your projects.
Before we show off our DT projects though, we need to ring a humungous "Thank You" bell to Karen and Clare, who have finished their time with us as Guest Designers.  Seems like they've hardly had time to unpack their stash and they've got to go!  It goes without saying that their inspirational ideas will be sadly missed by everyone here Humbug Hall and all our visitors.  It has been an absolute pleasure having them join us on the team and we hope they have enjoyed working with us as much.   Try not to be too despondent though because we have lined up several equally exciting new Guest Designers for the coming months and hopefully Karen and Clare will continue to be regular visitors.
No doubt you're as keen to see their final submissions as we are to show them ... so without further ado check the gallery below.  If you'd like to know more details about this week's DT projects, or just want to leave some love for Ann, Max, Karen and Clare,  please click on the links above each image to visit our personal blogs.

Spot Prize Time...

Remember this phrase, which can be found in our Bah! Humbug! side bar...

'Also, along the way we may be sending out little surprises to regular entrants on a random basis - you just never know what may arrive in your letter box ... nor indeed when! '

Well the time has come for a little surprise for one of our loyal and regular entrants.  Drum roll please as out of the Santa hat one name is pulled ...and that name is ...

Wowza, well done Debs and a huge thank you from the team here at Bah! Humbug! for your regular contributions to our challenges.  We do love seeing your work each week and really hope you like your prize -a clear stamp by Pollycraft.

I think we may have already got your address somewhere in the files here at the hall (yes folks you can win twice or even more times as everything is done on a purely random basis), but as everything is filed under A...

a spot prize winner
a DT member
a new challenge...

it might be a good idea if you email us again with your details.  LOL!

This week's challenge seems to be causing a fair few groans and shrieks of dismay around the hall.  Now come on everybody don't let a little thing like the word KINETIC put you off - it's easy really - honest and there is still time to enter so come on get your skates on and show what you can do HERE!
We've seen some absolutely fabulous work so far.  Do have a nosey at what everyone has been up to - you will be just blown away as we were.

love Ann and Max, xxx

Challenge 20 ... Kinetic Cards...

Phew ... it's been a short and rather disruptive week at Humbug Hall but it's already time for another challenge.  Are you hyped up, ready and raring to go?
We're moving on, (s'cuse the pun), to our next challenge and this week we're being literal 'cos we'd like to see cards and projects that move in some way.  Ooooooo'errrrrrr ... naughty Humbuggers!

As always The Humbuggers and our Guest Designers, Clare and Karen have provided you with some wonderful inspiration which can be seen below.  If you'd like to know more details about this week's DT projects, or just want to leave some love for Ann, Max, Karen and Clare,  please click on the links above each image to visit our personal blogs.

oh my goodness!

Well, I never due to Mr Blogger playing at silly billies last weekend we are super late announcing the winner of our monthly prize.
Actually, we can't put the blame fully on Mr Blogger as there have been all sorts of rumblings and commotions happening here in the dark and damp corridors of Humbug Hall.  Some of our old walls were in dire need of a new coat of plaster.  Eeek,  now as anyone who has ever had any plastering work done will know letting a plasterer into your home is a very risky business and is not at all advisable if you want to stay sane.
Oh the mess of thick dust and dampness everywhere - unbelievable!  At one stage not only could we not see to do any crafting it was also getting quite difficult to breath.  Both Max and I think it was this that led to the hounds making their escape from the Hall.
I mean who could blame them?  We wanted to leave the building too.  Must admit though it was a very worrying time and a total relief when we caught up with them at the services just outside Newcastle.  Phew, panic over.
Oh must stop rambling and get on to announcing our randomly chosen winner of the month who is ...
Drumroll please...

Yeah, well done Hazel please can you send us an email with your address as soon as possible and we will get your prize sent out to you.  Promise to remove the plaster dust before posting.

For those who would like to join this week's challenge of 'Snowflakes' please click HERE to enter and also see the fab work of our guest designers.

Have fun and remember - Do not allow plasterers into your house at any cost!

Challenge 19 ... Snowflakes...

As you are all no doubt aware, Mr. Blogger has been a bit of a naughty Bah! Humbugger and been playing silly devils, so we have extended our deadline for Challenge 18 - Going Green until 12 noon on Saturday 14th May to give those of you who still have projects to upload a chance to do so and be included in the Monthly Prize Draw.
Sooooooo.....
Because he can't be trusted to behave, we're going to dispense with the frivolous waffle which usually accompanies our posts ... *huge sighs of relief* ... and get on with announcing this week's challenge before he cuts us off again.
This week we chose a nice easy theme and are asking you to sprinkle your cards and projects with
Snowflakes
Clare, Karen and the Humbuggers have all been busy beavering away and hopefully you will get some inspiration from the results which can be seen below.    If you'd like to know more details about this week's DT projects, or just want to leave some love for Ann, Max, Karen and Clare,  please click on the links above each image to visit our personal blogs.

Challenge 18 ... Going Green ...

Wow! ... it's May already!
Regular visitors to Humbug Hall know that the first challenge of a new month brings the chance of winning a super-dooper prize ... and we have selected another real beauty for one lucky random winner.  BUT more of that later because first we'd like you to join us in extending a warm Humbug welcome to Karen - Serendipity Dragonfly and Clare - Miscanthus Crafts.
Welcome ladies xxx
We just know you are going to love their submissions for this week's challenge as much as we do and no doubt there will be a lot more crafty goodness to look forward to over the next few weeks.  So on to the challenge ... which is
Recycling or Shades of Green
You may choose one of the options or alternatively you can combine them - whatever you like.  We really don't mind.
Thousands of UK kids received their first introduction to 'recycling' when watching the likes of Blue Peter and The Wombles on TV.   Many a toilet roll holder, washing-up liquid bottle and ... to the despair of mothers everywhere ... kitchen table, was transformed beyond recognition with the help of paint, glue and strategically placed tissue paper!  AND you couldn't even begin to guess at the wonders that were achieved with wire coathangers and tinsel!
Following our Springclean at Humbug Hall, (and because many of us are having to tighten our crafty belts at the moment), we thought it would be a good idea this week to challenge everyone to do their own little bit of 'Wombling' or in other words - recycle some of the items you have begged, stolen or borrowed, with good intentions of using, then sadly left neglected and forgotten in a corner somewhere.  We know you're just itching to see what the Humbuggers and our Guest Designers have created this week so take a look below.  If you'd like to know more details about this week's DT projects, or just want to leave some love for Ann, Max, Karen and Clare,  please click on the links above each image to visit their personal blogs.

As promised, here is a picture of the prize we have on offer for this challenge.  How much would you love to have this jolly Santa in your sticky little fingers?  Yeah ... bet you would!  Well you know what you have to do.
One random winner will be selected from all the entries to this week's challenge. You are free to create whatever you like ... it doesn't have to be a card ... in fact, show us as many different Christmas Projects as you want to share.
Just remember ... have fun and don't forget to leave us a direct link to your project in our comment box so we can come and admire your creativity.
