We made a trip to one of our favorite places a little town called Stamford. It's a fun place to go walk around, do a little shopping and have tea. Mandy was impressed with my driving skills through the busy little streets. The streets are tiny as it is and then people park their cars along the sides which makes it even more difficult to maneuver around. I have to say I'm impressed with myself as well. ;)
On this day Jasmine wanted to be photographed in all the chairs we saw. I have to say she's a cutie.
One of the lovely views of Stamford.
After walking around for a while we had to make a stop for TEA. We had tea at the Crown Hotel which is also the hotel Jason and I stayed at on our home finding visit. We had tea cakes (basically a huge piece of raisin toast) and of course scones with cream and jam. All very tasty.
Jasmine had this pretty little cupcake.
Our view while we had tea. It was a wonderful sunny day.
Another view of Stamford.
Mandy in the same phone booth that Jason has also taken a picture in. They think alike.

Grimsthorpe Castle
New day, new adventure. A girls day at Grimsthorpe Castle. Jasmine was in a modeling mood and did a lot of cute posing. So this post will be tons of Jasmine photos.

Busy Day
We had a busy day and did a lot of running around. It went pretty much like this. Drop Jasmine off at school. Run to Peterborough for a little shopping and a look at the Cathedral. Pick Jasmine back up, take her to ballet, drop her off with Holli while Mandy and I went to the Spa for a little relaxation (sigh). Pick Jasmine back up and run home while we wait for Jason to arrive with Andrea the babysitter. Except that Jasmine doesn't have a babysitter she has a visitor since she is not a baby. She then entertains Andrea because she is her guest. Jasmine is one of a kind.
Then head out to a nice dinner for our 9 year Anniversary with Mandy in tow at the Falcon Inn. So glad that Mandy could spend our anniversary with us. This is view while you eat dinner. Just lovely. The Falcon Inn overlooks St. Mary's Church which stands nearby the motte of Fotheringhay Castle
where Richard III was born and Mary, Queen of Scots was executed.
Dinner was very yummy and we finished it off with Sticky Toffee Pudding!
After dinner we walked around the church which was painful after all the food.

Aunt Mandy Came To Visit - Oundle
We decided to let Mandy sleep in on Day 2 while Jasmine went to school in the morning. Jasmine was so happy and proud to have Mandy pick her up and to have the chance to show off her school. After that we headed to Oundle which is a short drive from Jasmine's school. After walking around Oundle for a little while we stopped for a spot of tea. One of our favorite activities while Mandy was here. We had scones with jam and clotted cream. We were not so sure about putting the jam and cream together on the scones but soon discovered that it tastes pretty good.
Jasmine found a little hole in the wall and we all had to pose in it.
