Celebrating your birthday today, Eddie!

I only knew you a little while when you were an old man, but mama said she loved you for all of your 16 and 3/4 years.

My mama told me about your mama, "Panda" and how she looked like a fluffy panda bear! That's cool. Mama told me Panda borned you in my mama's room. And how you were the runt of five fursibs. Mama said that being the runt is probably why you're only one that lived - you didn't get much nursing time with your mama; she was ill and had passed the illness to your fursibs before anyone knew anything was wrong. Very sad.

But a happy thing is that mama said you were best friends together! You're lucky, Eddie, you got all of mama's attention and got to sleep on her bed at night for all of your life! Even, I don't get to do that! sheesh

Today, mama put a yellow flower where you rest. Her eyes rained. I think she misses you a lot. Mama and I hope you're taking good care of Jim - we miss him a lot, too.

Happy Birthday Eddie! Hope your Angel Food tuna fish cake is divine! (That's what I heard you get in heaven - yum).

Oh crud, it's been rough!

My mama went through a heck of an ordeal - the surgery was much more of an extensive procedure than she thought it was going to be.

Getting tonsils out was NOTHING compared to the sinus reconstruction - FIVE corrective procedures, and the first 3 weeks of recovery was pure 'heck' ! It's still all too 'close' and mama doesn't want to describe what she went through just yet - she gets nauseated thinking about it. blehhh

Things have started to get better this week, so we're keeping our paws crossed. Still taking (narcotic) pain meds everyday but she doesn't like how they make her feel. Going to ask the doc if she can switch to just plain ol' Tylenol.

Wanted to say 'hiya' and let you know how mama is doing. Have missed you, my friends.

Mama's tonsils are going Buh~Bye

Mama been sick a long time this season with colds and bronco-itis, so she went to see a specialist - an ENT (ear, nose, throat) for help. LOOONG story short = mama hafta get her tonsils and adenoids out ASAP. Surgery is scheduled for Jan. 16th and she's kinda scared.

Doctor said big tonsils and unusually large adenoids hafta go, but that's not all - eeek! Doc said mama have sinus structural problems that must be fixed or problems will persist.

Mama has had issues with her ears, nose and throat for many, many years and now finally knows the reason. She's relieved to be getting it all solved but keeps telling me she's scared. I don't blame her cuz I hate when the vet fishes around in my mouth, too! *cough, pppfftt, spit*

Doctor is gonna fix three problems inside her head besides just the tonsils and adenoids: one is a deviated septum, and then two structural congential issues in the sinuses that will help her breathe better and not get sick all the time. I'm happy for her, but now I'm scared too! What if they poke her brain?! That could make her even more silly than she already is!!! Yipe! Being anemic, she worried about bleeding too much, plus I hear there is one heckuva sore throat in store.

I'm gonna do my best to feed her a ton of lime popsicles and keep her feet warm when she's resting. If you wanna send good/positive thoughts her way, we'd both appreciate that. :)

MooMoo and her brofur urgently need a new home.

@TheNascarkitty and his dad, Doug urgently need help to re-home 2 of their beautiful indoor kittehs: Big Boy and MooMoo (Lady), otherwise their landlord will evict them all for having more cats than allowed on their lease.

Doug and his niece Sara are devastated! The cats are 4 years old and are brother and sister from the same litter, so if at all possible they need to be kept together.

Doug lives in Wisconsin, USA and although the cat’s don’t enjoy car rides, they’d be willing to brave it to get to their new forever home. If your interested, I know we could arrange transport.

Big Boy’s a 20lb gentle giant who loves sitting on your lap and being patted.

MooMoo’s the queen of head bonks and also like napping on your lap. Both cats love playing games, either with you or with each other.

Pepi speaking: This is a genuine call for help. So far there hasn’t been one bit of interest and time is running out! Please add these cats to your blog, blog hops, Facebook, etc.. One way or the other, these 2 cats HAVEto go somewhere else to live or Doug and Sara will be evicted.

Sadly, if they cannot find a home anywhere the outlook for these 2 cats is very bleak indeed. They are beautiful loving cats who just need a chance, to keep living.Can you help them? Do you someone who can?
