Its 2 And a half hours to my first paper and I received news that one of my friends passed away.. she was another one of my poly friends.. the one who talked to me and made me feel comfortable. We used to hang out at Starbucks till we were tired, before walking home. She always wanted to go overseas with me but i, being a lazy friend, to contact, didn reiply her. I feel fucking guilty now.
The Times we spent, really this taught me to be a better friend....

Another random stop cos the view was beautiful. We stopped the car one side and were ready to cross the road to get to the rail track when one car pulled up beside us. And he asked "is everything alright ?" . So sweet :') Faith in humanity.. and he actually turned back for us, and he turned back and continue his way. And throughout the whole trip my boy kept imitating that guy's accent 😂
Finally reached our destination, Dowerin, after 2 hrs. The tin dog sculpture was built by High school students in an attempt to attract visitors to Dowerin and it sure did !! Me and chew went all the way there to snap pics of it. Sadly, we didn stay or spend in that town

Another 2 hrs drive to Quairading to see the Pink Lake !! Sadly, the sun was setting so it wasn't pink... the Pink color is caused by the shrimp/micro organisms living inside ! So it's not pollution or anything.
By the time we came back from the pink lake, it was 4.30 and the shops were closing alr .... we wanted to check in but the hotel only opened at 6 !!! With nothing to Do, we just chilled in the car

Finally we could check in to our tiny room. It was 55/per room and it was shared toilet. It was really cheap but rundown. Its guests were mainly construction workers for the construction of Quairading. Anyway funny story, cos we didn use the toilet properly last night, and we both needed to shit. But there was no toilet paper! ! And we tot, ok maybe we need to bring our own since it's a cheap hotel and stuff
So the owner was outside talking to this guy for so long and I finally went up to her and ask her, "there's no toilet paper. Can we buy some from u? " and I think she was also shocked and said that they provide.toilet paper but it ran out and I laughed like.he'll. I was so embarrassed 😂😂
At night, we just watched once upon a time while cuddling each other till I fell asleep... :') simple moments like these I will miss
Woke up at 8 and was ready by 9.. but guess what ? The hotel only opened at 12pm! !!!! So we couldn't check out till then😑 we tried knocking every door, but no one answered. Sian. So we went back to the Pink Lake ! It was slightly pink on the right (but not that obvious as the one in kalbarri ) and blue on the left. This was an unedited pic taken from my phone.

Damn ridiculous cos it was only 10am at that time so we went back to the hotel to waste time and watch tv in the common area. Q a basic setup (toaster, microwave, free food) for the price we paid !
Wasted more time by trying to take ootds. Anyway Quairading is a small town and it wasn't meant for tourists. This whole trip, most of the places we went to aren't for tourists so it's really local and non commercialised which I love. So there were no shops /sites to see and we were so boredded
Had brunch at 11.30am since we still couldn't check out, at this small but humble cafe. Our cheapest proper meal here!!! It was $36 for 2 mains and 2 drinks, which is really cheap for Aus. Guess that's the good thing about visiting non commercialised places. And I mentioned that I've been the fattest in my whole life and this boy finally saw it first hand !! So fattt 😭 must be the milkshakes cos I've been drinking a lot of milkshakes here in perth dk why.. now my motto "say no to milkshakes"🙅
So we went back to the hotel at 12, and they were out so we could only check out at 1230. LOL... so we are finally checked out and ready to hit the road again
Finally we reached the historic town of York! I have always wanted to go there but my friends didn want to so I'm glad we went there !! It was sooooooo beautiful. A mixture of old buildings, with the hills, the trees, the red dirt, PERFECTTT! It reminded me of europe somehow

I was completely blown away by the view. And its only 1 hr away from Perth !!! Didn't take much photos cos they don't do justice to the view. I didn expect it to be sooooo nice

And with that, we ended our 3 day roadtrip to WA' s golden outback. It was super pretty and definitely the best road trip. Not just cos of chew, but cos every thing I saw was so beautiful !!! We came home and cooked salmon and beef with cream sauce and had a simple dinner and had a good rest. Poor boy didn't sleep during the drive. Love times like that :)
I miss so many people now. The ones who I was so close to.
My only poly friends: TMS. We used to be so close, talking and spamming everyday.
My ex colleagues: L, J, YY, P, A etc.. the ones whom I started out the job with, the seniors who guided me.. things always change when u see them going out without u (aka bojio)
My favourite used to be couple: A,Z. The ones I used to do shit with.. midnight adventures.. sigh.
My clique, MISFITS, of cos. I miss going out with them.
My other clique, FOS, we went to hk tgt. It was all good and we had so many nights and fun together...

Shall post about the roadtrip with chew 😍 having our tuna sandwich in the morning before setting off.usually during road trips, my friends and I normally
1) have a heavy breakfast.
2) pack snacks for the roadtrip. Normally I would just buy 1 whole loaf of bread (85cents) and spread nutella/peanut butter/jam and cut them into 4's so it's easier to eat. And it's cheaper and filling too. We also like to buy water (must) , some packet juices, biscuits etc.. things that are small and easy to eat
3) buy cup noodles for our dinner. Cos food is really ex here so we normally just buy cup noodles
It was about 2hrs drive to King Neptune statue located at Two Rocks and we reach around 9 but it was too early.
Went to Leemans landing to eat our bread and then there was this restaurant near by. I wanted to just grab a coffee for the long drive but we ended up eating breakfast. Total damage :40$😢 but it was a good.breakfast :)

Finally the King Neptune statue was opened. Its part of an abandoned theme park, Atlantis Water Theme Park. But it closed down. The statue used to be full of graffiti and his eyes were colored red and blue 😂 guess they cleaned up. Anyway, this was taken by my phone cam...

The best part of roadtrips: stopping in the middle of nowhere to take photos. Most of the nicer shots are taken along the road. Cos most of the time I'm driving so I will just randomly stop somewhere where it's nice to take photos. Like this 😏

We completed what we wanted to do at like .. 4 ? So we went to our hotel first. This is the New Norcia Hotel, located at New Norcia (of course..). It used to be a hostel for parents to stay when they came to visit their children in college. New Norcia is the only monastic town in Australia so it was pretty interesting to see the various colleges, churches, the culture, the monks.. etc.

Our room was located on the 2nd floor so even when I want to pee,I would go to the 1st floor.. the toilet was super clean, dry and spacious but nah.. it was located right at the corner.. and the guys toilet was worst. It was pitch black on the way to the guys toilet.. super creepy. I rather bathe in a dirty small toilet than a creepy one

Nice architecture dating back to 1880. Anyway.. that's the end of day 1, at night, we just headed down to the bar to have some dinner. Even tho we bought cup noodles for our dinner but since we didn spend on lunch, we could spend on dinner ?😅 it was a simple pizza and fries. Simpe but romantic dinner with him 😍 And we both ordered coke and we were probably the only ones drinking coke as the other people were like 30,40? I guess I'm weird Cos I like to visit interesting places like these 😍
