Stewart Falls

We decided to take a hike to Stewart Falls with Jorden's siblings and spouses. It was the perfect hike, that wasn't too difficult for the kids.

The top of the hike is always worth it and Krew had a blast getting soaking wet under the falls.

Sibling Fun

 After Krew started school, Myla was majorly bored all the time. But chocolate always seemed to be the solution. It brightens up any day!

Her shirt says, "Run Wild & Be Free". It fits her personality perfectly!

We have one of the coolest parks just a few blocks from our house. The kids could play here all day, every day and be happy.

 Also nearby our house is this fun bike park. Krew spent one evening perfecting his biking skills,

 while Myla worked on her modeling skills.

We love these warm Utah days!

1st Grade at Thunder Ridge Elementary

First day of 1st grade! 

I remember 1st grade so clearly that it's hard to believe Krew is at this point.

Myla (pre-hair done) didn't know how her life would change.

 1st grade is the first year that is full day. Myla was so bored without her big brother to play with all day.

Luckily, my neighbor was passing by and got a picture of all of us.

Glasses!

This handsome kid got glasses. His eyes tend to over-correct when he's reading which causes him switch some letters around. 

I also got glasses, but I don't look nearly as cool as Krew.

I think he resembles Clark Kent.

Krew wore his glasses for most of 1st grade and they resolved his problem. Part of me was disappointed he didn't get to wear these longer. But I'm glad his eyes are better and his reading has improved leaps and bounds.

Wedding Bliss

 Jorden's cousin, Paizlee got married in August. I love weddings. It's fun to see the bride and groom start their life together and also reminds me of my own wedding day. I also love that I get to see my wonderful in-laws.

Weddings are fun but oh so exhausting.

Tour of Utah 2015

One of our favorite traditions is watching the Tour of Utah each year. It's a seven day professional bike race that has achieved world-class status.

The opening ceremony is one of our favorite parts. The pro riders are introduced and they give away free stuff. Like these awesome glasses.

 This was the first day Krew started feeling normal after his tonsillectomy. It was so good to see him feeling like himself again.

 I was really bad this year about taking pictures of the pros but I did pretty good about taking pictures of this future pro. Krew does the kids' race every year. He loves it!

There are dozens of kids that participate in the race and to keep things fair, they break the kids up into age groups.

Krew and one other kid quickly broke away from the peloton. 

 They were neck and neck until the very end.

Krew ultimately took first. Newspaper/Media was waiting at the finish line and got Krew's information for the Park City Newspaper.

I love that Krew loves cycling just like his Dad. His future is bright!
