Christmas Marathons #1-3

Our Christmas Marathons began on Christmas Eve Day; we started with our foursome opening gifts at home.  Finley was READY!

It was Hadley's first Christmas, she was ready with her first present...

...it was a musical ball, but...

...all she really needed was the paper.  It's fair to say she consumed a little wrapping paper over the weekend.

Hadley is too little to tear open presents, but Finley was happy to assist.

Christmas Eve dinner was held at my parents house, we had both family and friends to celebrate with.

One of our new traditions is a Wii-Bowling Tournament for the adults.  The kids warmed up the Wii with a golf game - Finley is obsessed with the Wii right now.

When we stole the Wii back, the kids entertained us with many costume changes.

It was jammie-time!  Finley was sad he didn't have striped jammies like Spencer, Easton & Nolan.  Luckily (for us), last year's holiday jammies had striped bottoms - close enough.

Cousin Jon and cousin-to-be Jen got in Hadley-snuggles.

Hadley tried on her new Santa hat...

...there she is!

We got home so late that Finley didn't set out cookies for Santa, luckily I did.  The next morning, one little boy was ecstatic to see that Santa came!  It was pure joy and magic that only Santa can bring!

Where do you even start?!

Both kids stopped for a treat...Finley helped himself to Santa's leftovers, Hadley had paper.

Santa brought many fun things...

...including a SPACESHIP!  Finley told EVERYONE he wanted a spaceship from Santa.

Finley thanked Jimmy for his help.

Christmas Marathon #2 complete.

We were off to Grandma & Grandpa's for lunch and MORE presents.

We started off with our annual gag-gift exchange for the adults.  Heidi received communication cards (so Ryan knows what she's thinking), Ryan received a DIY vasectomy kit...

...Mom received a snuggly for hockey games...

....Patrick received a Cancun Survival Tool Belt....

...Dad received HAIR...

...and I received a Singing Christmas Buck.  Do you get it?!  Neither did we.

While we laughed at the Singing Buck, the kids entertained themselves.

I read Great Grandma's annual Christmas letter from 30 years ago....

...we took our annual Santa-hat picture...

...and then it was time for presents!

Auntie's girl received her first American Girl Doll, it's an Itty-Bitty...she already loves her!

Auntie's Boy received a hand-made (not by me) hat...adorable!

It was a busy place!  I can only imagine what it'll look like with two more mobile kids next year.

Hadley & Nolan both survived and enjoyed their first Christmases :)
