This is our last week at Ms. Helen's house. We started going to Ms. Helen and Mr. Richard's in August and it's been a very quick six months. Helen is having glaucoma surgery next Tuesday and she will not be able to watch the kids any more. We are hoping and praying that she will feel up to taking them back in around August, but right now we just don't know. I snapped this photo last week and I am going to give it to her on Friday. I am so thankful for time we have spent there. It has been wonderful to leave her in such caring and loving hands. We are going to miss Helen and Richard so much. I have not told CB too much about the change, but she knows that something is going on. I intend to keep up with Helen no matter what the outcome and I hope we can swing by for a visit on the back porch when she is feeling up to it. These kids have become like family and as much as we will miss Helen, we will miss Zoe, Maryssa and Cooper too.

Back in the Swing!
Alright. I know. It's been a ridiculous amount of time. I go through spurts where I am good and then spurts where I am not so good! I am going to try to do better! So...we left off in November. Let's see...I don't think I posted anything about CB's birthday, and there is nothing about Christmas. Honestly, 2011 has not been super exciting thus far. We have had lots of really bad weather, which made for good snuggle time. I can't complain about that at all. One thing that is hindering my blogging is that I got a new camera and I have not downloaded a single photo from it yet! I have pictures on there from Christmas until now....about 500 pics so I am way behind! I am going to try to work on that some this weekend.
In other news...Greg and Erica are getting married in May! We are anxiously anticipating the big day. I have CB's dress ordered, but I am working on shedding a few pounds before I go shopping. My cousin Amy is getting married at the end of March so we are super excited for that big occasion as well. I need to win the lottery to buy clothes for all of this stuff!
We found out last week that we are going to have to move CB to another location for the remainder of the school year. Our precious Ms. Helen is having eye surgery for glaucoma and she has to get it done as soon as possible. Her surgery is going to be March 15, so we have until then to find a new spot. I cried for about 48 hours non-stop last week when we found out. I can't explain how wonderful Ms. Helen is and how much CB loves her. I know it's going to be hard on Ms. Helen, too. She is really going to miss the kiddos. There are four kids that she keeps everyday and they all adore her. So...we are in the process of making changes. My hope is that Ms. Helen will feel up to keeing the kids next year so we can resume the bliss!
That is about all for now. Oh! I celebrated another birthday yesterday! It was a pretty uneventful day as I was in Arlington for a work conference. But I received lots of text messages and phone calls that brightened my day! We are going to celebrate this weekend with some family dinner and fun! :)

Rangers Galore!
It has been nuts around here with baseball-mania! Lo and behold the Rangers made it to the World Series and it was one of the most exciting times in sports history that I have ever lived through! We never thought this day would come, but it finally did and my dad and I couldn't stand to stay away! We went to game 4 on Sunday (Halloween) and it was a thrill! The crowd was electric and the weather was perfect! Unfortunately the Rangers lost, but it will always be a great memory! We saw Henry (Hank) Aaron on the field, the two Bush Presidents were there to throw out the first pitch and Lyle Lovett sang the National Anthem.
Boo at the Zoo
Last Friday, I took the day off and we went to the Fort Worth Zoo. They have a great event called Boo at the Zoo that is really toddler friendly! She had a great time looking at the animals and collecting treats. We met Aunt Chica and her family (mom Karen, aunt Amy, brother Will) and of course little Abby came too! Babbs was dressed like a bumble bee and CB was Minnie!
Party at Helen's
Clara Beth loves going to Ms. Helen's house everyday! She loves her friends and she enjoys the activities and the home cooking! She got to have a birthday party and celebrate at Ms. Helen's house on her actual birthday. I took pink cupcakes and we made goodie bags for the kids!
Minnie Extravaganza!
Well the birthday party was quite a hit! Clara Beth really enjoyed herself this year! We had family and just a few of her girl friends over and it was still overwhelming to me! Ha! Ha! She got a lot of Minnie Mouse stuff, a dress-up trunk, clothes, Princess shoes, a suitcase, two purses and a Minne Mouse silver charm! I would say she it set for awhile on the Minnie Mouse attire! Here are a few pictures from the big event!
