Go Go Bambini!

1st time at Bambini's, boy, it was more than fun!
i was complaining when we left
auntie mabel said we should go more often before i turn 2 since it's only 6 bucks for unlimited play for those under 2!

amazing! (part 2)

more amazing stuff!

  1. you should see me attempt to jump! (advanced skill at 24 mths) they all say i'm so cute when i try to jump on request. i did really jump a couple of times, with both feet off the ground, but i usually land on my bum. :P

  2. i can stack blocks now! (emerging skill at 21 mths) and when i start, it's difficult to get me to stop! mommy and daddy's really amazed at how i even started stacking...see me in action!

amazing! (part 1)

mommy's really amazed at what i've achieved at my tender age of 14 mths:
  1. walk backwards (typically achieved at 15 mths)
  2. "helps" around the house (advanced skill at 15 mths) - i will bring the tiny chairs out for dinner; throw tissue/rubbish into the bin; "attempt" to bring gong-gong's briefcase into the room
  3. kicks ball forward (advanced skill at 17 mths)
  4. "read" books on his own (achieved at 18 mths)
  5. can walk up and down tiny platform steps (an emerging skill at 20 mths)
  6. exploring genitals ! (advanced skill at 20 mths)
  7. asks "why?" (advanced skill at 23 mths) - abit far fetched lah heehee, i know how to say it, but still dunno what it means!

Milestone Chart : 13-18 months

babble

did i mention that i know how to call por-por and ye-ye (should have been gong-gong actually :) but ye-ye is easier!)

the adults also caught me saying "i dun wan, i dun wan"
i can "hi" and "bye" consistently now and latest fav word is "whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?!?!"

:)

daddy's and mommy's creation

on the right - daddy's version of a mobile phone... with antenna! hahaha :)

terrible-14mths?

mommy said that i'm aging before my time i'm already exhibiting bad behaviours of a "terrible-2" toddler at a tender age of 14 months mommy dare not even imagine how i will become when i turn 2!!!! :P she's already call me her little hooligan and monkey coz i'm climbing everything i can lay my little hands and feet on
i climb on the kids' eating table
i climb out of the cot, only to climb back in again
i climb por-por's metal gate and shake it as though i'm behind bars :P
i climb onto muffin jie-jie's bed and chase her out of it
i've also mastered the art of throwing tantrums to get my way :)

flow-er; whyyyyyyyyyy; work-work; you dun-no!

mommy was amazed and a little skeptical when por-por told her today that I could say "flower"
i said "flower". more than once :)
I haven't said it to mommy yet though
that doesn't stop mommy from repeating the word "flower" and coaxing me to say it!

other phrases that everyone thought they heard:
  1. i told gong-gong: "you dun-no"
  2. when mommy asked me to turn off the light, i went "whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy"
  3. por-por questioned: "where did mommy go?" i replied "work-work" :)

and they say i say the darnest things :P

what i've been up to lately

i'm so clever, smart and strong these days
i enjoy lifting up boxes and items as big as me and walking around with them
mommy and daddy is worried that i might be stunted by carrying all that weight!

i'm good at picking up rubbish or stuff that the adults want me to throw into the waste bin
thing is i throw it in and take it out almost immediately :) cute right?

i can also say "byeeee" really sweetly when i feel like it
and i will say "wat dat", pointing to things that I'm curious about
i recognize "car" and "bus" and can sometimes say it to humour the adults
i can also kick and sorta dribble the ball with my feet, in attempts to imitate daddy

but lately my fav pastime is to take the "tek-ko" and pretend i'm sweeping the floor
mommy does it with the magic broom, i try to help with the "tek-ko"
haha!

Green day

Last Sunday, i had a great time with the arts and craft session at GUG
we were all given a piece of white paper and 2 blobs of paint - green and yellow
i gave a wide grin the moment i laid my hands on the paint and looked at mommy
it was cold and gooey and messy!
but really fun!
so i painted the paper green with my hands and used the sticks and forks to make lines and patterns
i'm a natural artist
mommy got paint all over her though :P

can't wait for the next arts and craft class!

GUG

we went for a trial at GUG on Sunday
i really enjoyed myself!
the letter for the day was letter "Z"
mommy acccompanied for the 1st half of the session and daddy the 2nd half
i really enjoyed the action songs and the puppet session
it was so interesting!
i liked the story telling as well
mommy saw that i was having so much fun, she signed me up for the sunday classes
can't wait for the next session!

my crowning glory

finally daddy and mommy decided to bring me for a haircut on the last day of june
junior leage at vivo city is giving free haircuts for those born in april/may/june
so cheapo right? haha
mommy was all so ready with the coupon for free haircut
but when we got there, my folks have no idea how they wanted my hair to be cut! haha
luckily there were pictures of different styles
the auntie asked if we wanted "slope", "japanese-style"
both daddy and mommy combed through the pics and pondered for a long while
eventually, i didn't get a haircut! haha
daddy decided that he wanted me to keep the current hairdo since i look so cute in it :)
everyone's been commenting that i look like a "jik-poon-gia" (japanese boy)
we'd keep it that way for a while :)
