So Sorry, it's been awhile

Yeah, I am a slacker. It has been awhile since my last post, almost a month. Bad Trina, very bad!! I chalk it up to no camera right now, and so no pictures to share. I did try and download a video, but can't find the cord to hook up the camera to the computer. So, your imagination will have to do for now. I have asked Eric for a new camera for Mother's Day, keep your fingers crossed.

What has happened in a month. Well, not a whole lot, really. Easter was great. We dyed Easter eggs and had lots of fun with those. Alex was so funny finding the eggs on Easter Sunday, he thought they were balls and threw one. Thank heavens it was hard boiled!!

Alex is of course growing like crazy. He will be 11 months tomorrow. Hard to believe. It is still so vivid what I was like last year at this time, very pregnant and very swollen. I am truly grateful not to be like that now :) He is also officially walking. Yep, he has done it. He really took off last weekend and has not stopped. I am not sure if it is because he loves it, or he is just trying to escape Kelly. That was the video I was going to download. Hopefully soon.

Kelly is the biggest talker. It always amazes me how quickly my kids have learned how to talk. I know that a lot of it has to do with being girls, since they verbalize earlier then boys. But, I think it is because their mom talks too much. She is so sociable and loves to play Barbies with her big sisters. She actually plays with them and make believes with them as well. It is so nice to have her occupied with something other then me. We are contemplated toilet training, but have not gotten there yet.

Amy is growing so TALL!! She is so much bigger then kids her age. Most people think that she is a lot older then she is. She is finishing up preschool in June and will be in Kindergarten next year. Her and Heidi will start the new school up here together. I think that will be easier for both.

Heidi is a flourishing 1st grader. She loves to read. Her favorite books are the Junie B. Jones book series. She is doing quite well with math and actually enjoys it. I hope that she will continue to do so.

All of the kids have made friends in the new neighborhood and now that it has gotten nicer outside, they all go out and play, play, play. It is so nice. They are not stuck inside anymore driving me crazy.

I am enjoying the new neighborhood and meeting new people. I started to play Futsal with my ward here and of course the first game I got hurt. Yeah, big surprise. My knee got the brunt of the impact of the floor and has been swollen and purple for a week now. It doesn't hurt on a day to day basis. It just hurts REALLY badly when someone touches it. (Usually a 11month and 2 year old.)

Eric is doing well and having fun driving a big truck in the mountains. Need I say more??

Hopefully pictures will come shortly.
