Who does she look like??

Amy usually does not let me do her hair. She has to do it and she just brushes it the way she wants. No help from mom. Well today she decided it was okay to let me do something to her hair. She told me exactly what she wanted and where to put the ponytails. It took three tries for me to get it in the exact spot, but we finally did it. I think she looks absolutely adorable. More importantly, she LOVES it. So don't think I am mocking her in anyway. But.... Who does she remind you of. It was my favorite book growing up too!! About a little redheaded girl with pigtails......

First day of School

YEAH!!!! Heidi is in 1st grade!! She was a little nervous the night before about eating in the cafferteria and a girl that she did not get along with in her kindergarten class last year, but for the most part, she was super excited!! The funny thing was, I was way more nervous for her than I thought I would be putting her in full day and eating in the cafferteria for the first time. I actually had a nightmare about it the night before. It's hilarious!! I wasn't even this nervous for her when she went to kindergarten. It kind of shocked me. It just means I love her, right?!?!

She had curly hair left over from church that made her happy.

She also got a new backpack with Hannah Montana on it. Very 1st grade chic!!

It's hard to believe how beautiful & grown up she is. We are very proud of her.

Look Who's 3 Months Old!!

Alex is now 3 months old!! Hard to believe. It has felt like he has always been here. And really he has. He has been so much fun to watch grow up. And yes, it has been different raising a boy this time. Not hugely different, but there has been some differences. As you can see in this picture, he is a chubby boy!! So unlike his sisters. They were pretty much long and skinny, with the exception of Amy, but she was not even close to how chubby Alex is.

Everyone keeps asking me what color do I think Alex's hair will be, well, here is a picture that actually shows you what color I think he will have. Yeah, another cutie redhead!!!

As you can see in these pictures he is truley loved by his sisters. Kelly really has mixed feelings about him. Either she is hitting him or kissing him. But mostly I think she likes him.

I am just so thankful to have Alex here with us on this Earth. I am very blessed to have such amazing kids. I always imagined what it would be like, and the actual experience doesn't even come close to the joy I fell with my kids.

Daddy's Girls

I found these adorable shirts for $2 each and in the right sizes for the girls. It was meant to be. I just could not resist getting them for the girls to wear with Eric. The truth is that each one of his girls are his cupcakes. I don't think that he could have ever antcipated how it would be to have 3 adoring, beatiful girls think he is the greatest man alive. He absolutely loves it!!! He would not have things any other way, and I wouldn't either. So here is a tribute to a wonderful dad and his three cupcakes!! Thanks Eric, I love you!!

The Dangers of Blogging

Well, Kelly taught me an important lesson about blogging. PAY ATTENTION TO ME, MOM!! I was sitting at the computer catching up on reading some blogs, holding Alex, when Kelly come by me and starts saying something. I really wasn't paying too much attention to her and kept on reading. I few seconds later I could "smell" her and said, "Whoo Whee, who is stinky??" Well, I went back to reading and Kelly left. I finally decided I better stop blogging and get things going. I turn around and there is Kelly on the floor with the wipes, wiping her bum. It took a split second for me to realize that she took off her stinky diaper and took matters into her own hands. Now I had to spend a little more time cleaning this morning than usual. Well, that will teach me!!!
