Crazy Fun Week
We had a fun filled week with my sister Stacey and her two cute little boys Kael and Quinn. We went swimming lots, we went to Lagoon twice and we also watch a parade. Plus, we had a sleep over where we actually got some sleep. It was so much fun!! We miss them already. Here is slide show of some of the fun.

Waterfall
The waterfall is done!! It looks awesome. Eric and his friend Rick worked really hard for two days to do this. The cool thing is hearing it from the house. Next step sprinklers!!!

Lightning
I just have to share some really cool pictures Eric got of a huge thunderstorm we had the other night. He caputred two really cool shots. These are from our deck.
Progress!!!
We are actually making progress on our yard!! YEAH!! Eric and his friend Rick Law have been working hard on putting in the water fall. I can't believe it. We may actually have a functioning yard. Here are some photos of the before look. The waterfall will drop down into a small pond. We will have a fire ring to the north of the falls with seating. It will be really fun when it is done. I can't wait. After this is done, we finish the sprinklers, and dare I saw, we then will put in grass!! WOW!! Yes, I am excited. Right now the girls come inside covered in dirt head to toe, no lie. And guess who cleans them up and the house afterwards. No, not Eric. :)

Alex's Blessing
Today we were able to bless Alex. We did it today so that my sister Stacey and her family would be able to take part of the festivities. Her and her family were going to be in town for Adam's family reunion, so I took advantage of the opportunity and we blessed him not on a fast sunday. We had a wonderful day with family and friends. We also had a great time with everyone afterwards at our house for a BBQ. The cousins were so excited that their Oregon cousins were in town, we hardly saw them.
Eric did a wonderful job blessing Alex, as he has in the past with the girls. I really am grateful that we have the priesthood in our home and that Alex will be able to see that example and hopefully he will be a worthy priesthood holder one day.
Here is a wonderful picture of dad and son. Yes, he is a proud papa, and he should be. Our little man is a cutie!! No, I am not biased!!
These are my wonderful and dear friends Cynthia and Melissa that came to the blessing. Cynthia, the one in black, is the one that set Eric and I up on our blind date. She is the reason that we have Alex and the girls. Thanks CYN!!!
Here are the MEN bbqing.

This is Stacey my older sister and my brother with my new nephew Robbie. He is only 6 day old in the picture and look at all that hair!!!
Another picture of cute Robbie and all his hair. I am just jealous, my kids don't have hair like that. Heidi was close, but not quite.
Here is the cute little boy.

Happy 4th of July!
We had a fun 4th. We had my family over for a BBQ. We are trying to get in some fun time before my sister-in-law Lena has her baby. She actually is at the hospital right now having her baby!!! Eric worked really hard at putting the roof on the deck. It is nice to have some shade in the backyard. We light fireworks and the kids loved it. It was funny to watch Heidi, Amy, Kelly and their cousins Kendrick and Johnny. The thing I noticed was how the boys were right down there lighting the fireworks with their dad and Eric and all the girls sat on the deck and watch. Expect for Alex, I am sure he would be down there if he could have!!!
Here is Eric working on the roof of the deck. It is a BIG deck.
Have you seen a messier kid. She had so much fun.
The girls sitting back watching the show.
Fun sparklers. These were Heidi and Amy's favorites. They didn't make any noises. So there were brave and held them.
Eric and Kenny launching bottle rockets. Yes, illegal bottlerockets. You try and tell them not to do it.
Kendrick and Johnny having some fun.

Guardian Angels
Well, I had a very trying exprience today with my two youngest little angels. I was on my way to pick up Heidi and Amy over at a friends house with Kelly and Alex. I put Alex in the truck and then put Kelly in. Kelly's car seat is on the other side of the truck. So I put my purse on the front seat closed the door and went around the truck to get on the other side and Heidi's bike was directly behind the truck. So I moved the bike so I would not run it over, and I hear a dreaded sound of "click". Kelly locked the truck doors. Well, my purse is on the front seat of the truck with the keys in it. Panic hits me!!! My babies are locked in a truck with no A/C and it is almost 100 degrees outside. What am I going to do. I try and talk Kelly into hitting the button again, but all she manages to do it relock it over and over again. I call Eric, he is in Salt Lake, he says break a window. Okay, I try that, doesn't work. Called my friend Katey out of shear inspiration and she lives next to a highway patrolman. She runs over there and he comes over and gets my little angels out of the truck. Alex was extremely hot and so was Kelly, she was screaming most of the time. Bro. Spillman, the police officer, takes Alex immediately inside and cools him down and is awesome at remaining calm. I have Kelly and she is really shaken up and I get her cooled down with ice and otterpops. Needless to say I am EXTREMELY grateful that my kids are okay. I KNOW that they had guardian angels in that truck with them and protected them from dying. Especially Alex. I am so grateful that the Lord with there with them and with me to remain calm and listen to promptings. I know that Bro. Spillman was home for a reason, he is not home that often. I am also grateful that I am writing a happy ending to this blog!!!! Thank you Heavenly Father for miracles that happen everyday.
I am grateful for this dirty girls!!
I am grateful for her.
I am grateful for this sleeping angel.
