Parry Press
I decided to write a family newsletter so all the "Parry's" can stay connected to each other. I have just finished the 2nd quarter newsletter. It's fun to write the newsletter and gather all the information from everyone :)

Birthday 2008
I had a wonderful birthday this year. I didn't really want to celebrate, but my best friends made it fun. Alan & Jerry took me out for a wonderful 6 course meal at Qiessence at the Farm. The meal was delicious except for the dessert - they had Goat CheeseCake!!! yuck! But I did enjoy the dinner and the company. Alan & Jerry also gave me a day at the spa for christmas & birthday. I went to the spa on Dec 31 and enjoyed every minute of a Hot Stone massage, facial, hair style and make up.

Christmas 2008
Meowy Christmas!
I spent a very relaxing Christmas day this year. I watched movies I haven't seen for awhile and gave some much needed attention to my babies.
I watched "kiss me kate", "Calamity Jane", "Elizabeth the Golden Years" and "Die another Day".
I started my day with a call to Mom and Dad and then I gave the kitties a bath. Boy they didn't like that! Lucky howled and screamed so loud my neighbors asked if everything was ok. But now their fur is so soft and fluffy and they smell oh so good (I wash them with Baby Shampoo).
Tiggers Christmas Spirit!

Wishing you all a Happy New Year!

PARRY SISTER TRIP 2008
September 18-21 was our annual Parry Sister Trip. This year the 5 Parry girls ended up in St. George, Ut. We spent the weekend shopping, eating, shopping, talking, getting pedicures all at the same time, shopping for bras and just relaxing. We also got to to see Les Miserable at Tuachan. What a play!
WOW! What a fantastic experience the entire weekend was. Kellie had the wonderful idea of each of us writing a letter to each other. Each letter that I brought home was a beautiful message of love from my sisters. I really enjoyed the trip. My niece Jailyn (Kellie's daughter) lives in St George and spent some time with us too. It was a lot of fun.
I drove up to St George from Phoenix and it was an awesome drive. THere were fields of yellow wildflower on the drive. Of course I had to stop - especially when I saw a horse in the middle of a field of yellow flowers, I just knew my dad would love that picture. Anyway- I drove up through flag staff, Jacobs Lake, Fredonia, Colorado City (what a city), then on to St George. It was a beautiful drive.
Thanks to my sisters for a wonderful time! Love ya all- Kayleen, Krista, Kellie & Kari

Visit to Utah
The wedding turned out beautiful! Isn't my nephew Dustin handsome? And what a beautiful bride.
The weather was beautiful, and seeing the family was fun. But it did make me realize that I am very different from my family. I am what you'd call the black sheep in the family. I live far away, I'm not active in the LDS Church, I drink, I curse, and do other things that are looked down upon in the church. I don't have children, and heaven forbid I am divorced. So I feel like I don't fit in.
But the family did an extremely good job in making me feel comfortable and wanted while I was there (however, I could tell a few were walking on eggshells around me). Oh well, all in all, it was a good trip. I was able to spend some good times with my mom & dad, until I started cleaning off the back patio. 2 of my sisters and a few nieces came to help. My dad was fit to be tied. He's a mr Pack rat and doesn't like to throw anything away. But the patio looks great and it's all clean! If I had their backyard, I'd be out on that patio every night in the wonderful weather.
I have to say I fell in love with 2 of my great nieces. Savanna and Sadie. Savanna belongs to my niece Mindy and Sadie belongs to my nephew Josh. They both just took to me like I took to them. There seemed to be a special bond between us. I've added a few pics of the trip. When Savanna was getting ready to leave, I gave her a hug and she said, "I love you my friend". That statement made the whole trip worthwhile. To hear that from a sweet innocent 3 year old, wow. I was also able to meet up with my ex-brother-in law Joseph, his wife Annie, son Landon and ex-sister in law Angela. Boy was it great to see them too.
