Journal visits Fraser Hill (birdwatching) 19 - 21 October 2010
The Little England of Malaysia is synonymous with the name of Fraser. With the background of the concept of building the UK, would give rise to nostalgia for the visitors. Journey to Fraser feels far, we finally arrived at the old gate gap. What a unique way to Fraser's Hill is within the rules set for the vehicle up and down. We were introduced by a teacher Zul, an Indian tourist guides that Mr. Durai, is considered an expert in birdwatching activities. He has nearly 20 years involved in these activities and has extensive experience and wisdom of Fraser's Hill, he received several invitations to seminars on birds in other countries such as Singapore and New Zealand. Skill sounds familiar species of birds and bird whistles as the admired and regarded as an activist in the fight bird species habitat in the Fraser.
Nearly 10 species of birds can be seen along with him. Among the Black Eagle, Mountain Imperial Pigeon, Mountain Fulvetta, Little Cuckoo Dove, Oriental Magpie Robin, Little Spiderhunter, Grey Wagtail. The evening after dinner, we gathered at 9.30 in the living room for a briefing by the instructors. We were divided into four groups with the names of the selected group itself is the Black Eagle, Eagle Nest, Oriental Magpie Robin and the Black Hornbill. Day two - Wednesday (October 20, 2010)

After the gap down the old road, we move a mass bus heading to a new location in Highland Barley Bungalow Resort to Maybank. There appeared another attraction of Fraser's Hill Allan's Water recreation area that offers boating activities. Along the route, more bird species seen in the Black throated Sunbird, Streaked Spiderhunter, Grey Chinned Minivet (male and female), Fire Tanager Tufted. The location offers a variety of bird species is to be noted. We are back to stay to enjoy the tea break.
At 4.45 pm we gathered back to the waterfall Jeriau. Distance from the center of town to the area 4.5 km. On the way, we could stop at Ye Olde Smokehouse, a concept design hotel UK, after a photo session at the Smokehouse, proceeded to bathe in the waterfall swimming Jeriau and we got there at about 5:35 pm. We had to walk about 500 meters, but a bit disappointed when the relatively shallow water there may be a result of infrastructure improvement works in the area. Day three - Thursday (October 21, 2010)
Activity continues to this day birdwatching. Each group has come together since 0715 hours the morning before the bungalow. Activity today is focused around the Telekom Loop, Every group is free to move along the path.

Upon completion of all work completed cleaning and packing, we left the rest of the Federal House of Fraser's Hill at a lunch and stop at the circle center of the city to buy souvenirs. We moved down at 2 pm. We all arrived safely at about 4.30 pm with a lot of fond memories of the Fraser can not be attained if the holiday elsewhere.
