David and I went to DC in October to visit his family and he ended up talking to a friend who he used to work with here in Scottsdale who had moved out there who works for the company.Well the next thing you know he had three interviews while we were there and ended up getting the job. It's with a company called Costar. They are a large nation wide real estate investment group. This is his dream job so I knew deep down inside that I needed to be supportive but I was so againstthis from the beginning.I am a home body and love living here so this is hard for me to swallow. Plus all my family is here. But all his family is there so atleast I will
have some family there.I lived there while I was engaged to David and loved it. So I'm hoping it will be just as good.So David surprises me and tells me we need to move out there the end of December. I'm thinking what...? Ok, so we need to pack our house and drive across the country in the middle of winter? Oh and let me remind you that this all has to happen in a month.I'm thinking oh he's crazy! So I'm trying to convince my brother to drive a uhaul out there? Wish me luck. And on top of all that I need to rent my house out.So if any of you know anyone who needs to rent please let me know! I know this will be so good for David and our family. He has always wanted to get back to DC. This is supposed to be for two years and then he can transfer either to San Diego or back here. And I will take either. I am going to miss it here but I know I will be back on a regular basis. I will keep you posted.

THE BRADFORDS ARE MOVING TO DC!

What have the Bradford's been up to?
So I just was looking up Lindsay Brummers blog and realized that it has been nine months since my last post. Wow, am I lazy. So here is the run down. We spent most of the summer at my parents beach house in San Diego and had a blast. The weather was beautiful. Why do we live in the hottest state? Now on the fam. David is now a manager of a bank and starts his masters at the end of the month. He is taking all his classes online and working 40 hours a week. I am so proud of him and the hard work that he is doing. I know I couldn't do it.He can apply for law schools in December and will be done with his masters in a year. Claire is now four and starts her new school in a couple weeks. She is so excited and so am I.She loves to play with her older cousins and they have had a serious example on her because she acts like she's ten! Some of the things that come out of her mouth crack me up! Last Saturday we were all at Erin Graff's house and Claire and Bella were playing and they both walked in to where we were sitting and they pulled out scissors and then decided to show us where they butch Claires hair! Oh it was so horrible. I tried to hide it from David but didn't work. Kind of funny actually. And now my little mini me(Chloe). She is now two and is the funniest thing I have ever seen. She loves Claire and wants to do everything she does. We are having a struggle keeping her in her own room at night and it has failed. So I have decided to put her toddler bed in the corner of my room and atleast that worked so wish me luck? As for me I am just living and loving life as a mom. I love staying busy.I will try and post more often it's so easy to forget?

I'm back on the map
OK, sorry for the hiatus from blogging, but I'm back. I don't even know where to begin.... lots of vacation, new jobs, home renovations and my kids...Now that summer is over and things have calmed down around here I feel like I can get my life back in order. Claire is fully potty trained and has started school. She loves being a "Big Girl" and I love only having to buy one size of diaper. David is trying to get into law school so our lives will be crazy busy for the next few years. I am so proud of him and admire him for taking such a huge leap, it will be so rewarding in the end. My sister Natalie finally got married in August. I am so happy for her. I am so blessed to have such a loving husband and family. We have been through some set backs this last year with the economy but our family has never been better. My girls are growing up so fast so I asked Lindsay to take some pictures of them in the tutu's that she had made for them. She is so talented and the pictures turned out beautiful. Thanks Linds!

Cardon Childrens Hospital
My dad has been on the board ofe Banner Hospitals for many years and for his service the board members asked him if he and his family (children) would like to donate some money to the new children's hospital for the naming rights. It is such an honor to have a hospital named after my father and to look up to him as such a great example of a giving person. I can't wait to tell my kids that this hospital is named after grandpa and (grammit) that's grandma. My oldest brother goes to a health camp in LA and there he met Cindy Crawford. We'll they have become good friends since then and asked her to come speak at the naming ceremony for the hospital. Nice publicity right? Let me just tell you, you think she is pretty on TV, We'll wait till you see her in person. Holy crap! She is gorgeous! I had to get my picture with her so I could brag about it. It turned out really nice and the hospital opens in November of next year.

I am such a slacker!
So much has happend in the last few months. Wow, where do I begin? I had a birthday in February and turned 28. I don't feel any different. Is that a good thing? All my family met up at Mi Amigos for an adventurous dinner. If you have ever seen my family you would think we were crazy for trying to go out to a restaurant. But we made it happen? Two days after my birthday some of my girlfriends and there husbands went to Beni-Hanas for Valentines. It was a blast! I can honestly say that that was the most memorable Valentines date ever. Considering I have been pregnant and on bed rest most of the other ones since I have been married. I highly recommend it. So now on to March. My family, parents, and sisters family went over to our beach house in San Diego for spring break. It was beautiful the whole time we were there. It got a little cold but other than that is was perfect. David flew over last minute and I loved it. We went to the grocery store one night to try to get Twighlight (red box) and low and behold I run into a girl from my ward. Go figure? You can't ever get away from Az. We did not want to leave. Now to the present. Today was a monumental day. Chloe took her first steps. She had her little hands up in the air and a big smile on her face and all of the sudden she just started to walk. I couldn't believe it? She turns one next month so maybe she will be walking by then?

Chloe's Surgery
Many of you know that Chloe has had chronic ear infections so this morning I woke up at five to wake Chloe up at six and hurried and put her clothes on and tried to rush out the door so she wouldn't start screaming because I couldn't give her a bottle. Thank goodness she fell asleep in the car on the way to the hospital. We filled out some paper work and then they sent us back to the children's waiting room. While we were sitting there a little girl who was just under two was getting tubes put into her ears as well. When the time came for her to leave her mommy she started to cry and it broke my heart. I started to tear and choke up. I kept telling myself this isn't a big surgery and Chloe will be fine. But any mom understands it hard to part with your child when you know they are going to be put through some pain. It was our turn for Chloe to leave us and we went back to the waiting room. No more than ten minutes later they called us and told us to come back to get Chloe. David picked her up and started feeding her a bottle. After she was done with her bottle I put her in her car seat and right away she fell asleep. We got home and she woke up an hour later. My baby was a whole new baby. She was so happy and playful. I am so glad we went ahead with the tubes.I couldn't believe how good she was after having the tubes put in just a couple hours ealier. Our fourth anniversary was last Monday and we spent it with him laying next to me on the couch as I felt like I was dying from the flu. I have NEVER been that sick as long as I can remember. I couldn't even lift my head up. Talk about a crappy anniversary. Overall, Chloe and I feel a lot better.
