This is a picture of Abolfazl Abedini, his hands and his feet are chained as he is briefed by his lawyer. Abolfazl Abedini is a human rights activist. He has never taken up arms or engaged in any violence.
After the crackdown by government security agents against human rights activists, Abedini was arrested at his family’s home in Ramhormoz on March 3, this year. He was brutally assaulted, beaten, and taken away. He was later transferred to ward 2a in Evin prison and sentenced to 11 years imprisonment.
His council, seen in the picture holding papers, is Mohammad Oliyaifard. He is also now detained in ward 350 of Evin prison to serve a one year prison sentence

Well 'He or she's a Witch!' That now just seems to be the abiding rule of this archaic clerical system! So why bother to have lawyers or even admit that they live in the 21st Century at all when the personal petty spites and fears of those who stole power supercede everything! The current regime really is an obscenity and and insult to modern day intelligence. Where being Anti-American and Anti-Zionist is the only excuse it needs to also be Anti-democratic, Anti-justice, Anti-equality, Anti-human rights and Anti-Freedom of speech! Ultimately hwever, Khanmanei will have done more damage to Islam with his barbaric ego than all the American and Israeli bombs put together! I just say Viva the Reformation!
The regime is in full paranoia mode now.
