8 Months Today

Our little Lochstar is 8 months old today.  I don't remember 8 months being such a major milestone for my other kids.  He holds his bottle by himself, and within 3 days he sat himself up for the first time, crawled for the first time, pulled himself up to standing for the first time, and I'm pretty sure he said mama and dada (whether anyone agrees with me or not).  But here is some proof.

So many things

So far our summer has consisted of playing with cousins, going to gymnastics and ballet camp (swimming lessons coming up), going to the drive-in, grilling in the backyard, taking walks along the creek by our house, watching fireworks, talking about fireworks, and watching the kids grow up before our eyes.  Pictures here.

Don't get me wrong, despite the makings of a PERFECT summer, I am still struggling to stay afloat and most days I just can't wait to go to bed.  Having 4 kids under 6 is hard work!!  But again, thank goodness for pictures because that's all I really remember about life.
