So dapper

These were actually taken a month ago but they were lost in the vast hole they fall into once they're important to iphoto. Jade and her cousin Cael.
I also failed to mention in my "Proud of the kids" post that Jade passed her first dental exam with flying colors (yes I waited until she was 4 to take her, so what?). No cavities or anything {phew}.

NEW:
This is so random, and don't ask me how I come across all these silly videos that I share.  I promise I spend most of the day doing things that are more important than this.  But I laughed so hard at this video, partly because I love Kristen Bell, and I love sloths, and I guess I kind of love Ellen.  And I just think its so cute. So enjoy.

Proud of my cute kids

Jade "graduated" from the Might Mites at gymnastics on Thursday.  Starting in a week she'll be a Shining Star with the 5 year olds!
She also made this awesome mega block sculpture all. by. herself.
In case you weren't sure, its a giraffe.
Calder got in his first fight.  The chair is ok.
Everest and Calder eating snacks off the floor is a lot like feeding ducks.  No matter how hard you try to throw the bread to a certain duck that never seems to get any, there's always a duck that swoops in and steals it. Maybe I should just not feed my kids off the floor...

Rhett & Link

Have nothing to do? (of course you don't...) Watch these awesome videos. Here's a sample of what's to come.

I may spend too much time on the phone...

I walked in on Jade pretending to text the other day, and this is what transpired as I casually set the
camera up on the edge of the table...

I'm not exactly sure what she hears me saying on the phone, but I guess I need to be careful.

And meanwhile...
Calder (up) Everest (down).  Everest is sleeping by the way, although his eyes are open.  He LOVES blankets.  We find him curled up in them everywhere.

New toy chest for the boys

I made this at a friend's craft day this weekend.  Just in time for a huge snow storm to come through.  And I was thinking that it was too late to put a snowman decoration up...

And drum roll please....
He's been doing this for almost a month now.  And the little tapping thing he does on his chest he does every single time he walks.

Birthday and Twin Group

We had a 2nd birthday party for all 3 boys (Aaron included) since we didn't get any pictures of Everest and Calder eating cake for the first time.  Yes, its that important

They loved their "first" experience with chocolate and I was so proud of my big boys for both eating an ENTIRE CUPCAKE!

Until I looked under the counter...
And yesterday I went to my first twin play group.  Did I tell you that there are at least 7 sets of twins (that I know of) born within 8 months of each other in Teton Valley?
Everest and Calder, Max and Luke, Degan and Devrie
Olive and Lily

We were missing the 3 other moms, but really 8 babies in one room is quite enough.  Next time if all 7 of us come I'll try to get a picture of all 14 babies together.

I've got some great videos to share when I get a chance to upload them.

Kairos Moments

I just had one of these reading this woman's blog (kairos moments that is).  Read to find out what I'm talking about.  If you're a mother of young children who tends to relate to my posts that say things like "thank goodness I'm not dead", then you have to read this.  Its life changing, or at least moment changing.  Thank you mom for sharing it with me.

We survived the first year!

Today is Everest's and Calder's FIRST BIRTHDAY! And since they're still really too young to appreciate it, I think it should more be a celebration for Aaron and I.

But we celebrated anyway of course (and I definitely celebrated over Christmas break, I spent way too much on clothes, highlights, zumba class, movies, etc.)

Happy Birthday Boys!

BEST.CAKE.EVER...for many reasons

Hi bottom :) These boys are so big.  I want to make them shirts that say "I beat prematurity!" Or something along those lines. What do you think?

Calder Walder

This is for you mom, look closely

Look what I can do...

-Walk! (Everest only.  Sorry Calder, your getting there)
-Say mama, dada, and baba.  And I use these words interchangeably for different people and objects.
-Sleep all night, and I mean ALL night.  6:30pm to 8am (knock on wood)
-Grow lots of teeth (we both have 4 on bottom and 2 on top, working on 2 more).  These are good for all the food we are constantly eating
-Climb up on anything no matter how high
-Lift pots and pans that are heavy even for mom
-Make my brother laugh
-Clap on cue. Sometimes.
-Share my toys with 2 siblings
