Guess who...

Guess who was at my Zumba class yesterday!

Her name is Laurie Metcalf.  In case you don't know who she is, here is a brief list of her film and television accomplishments...
Jackie (Roseanne's sister) on the show Roseanne
The voice of Andy's mom on Toy Story 1-3
The voice of Lucille on Meet the Robinsons
Betty Trout in Runaway Bride
Along with a long list of appearances in shows such as Easy Money, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Monk, Frasier, Malcolm in the Middle, 3rd Rock from the Sun, etc. (Thank you IMDB!)

And yes, she did actually DO my zumba class.  Which actually was not "my" class because I was subbing.  What a great day to be a sub :)

Conversation with a 3 year old teenager

Me: Jade, what are you eating?
J:String cheese
Me: Oh, where did you get that?
J: The fridge because I was just "SO hungry"

And yes, she did use "air quotes" while she said it.

A few minutes later, while I'm pouring her a drink to wash down her string cheese...

J:Mom, I'm just so worried you are going to make a huge mess.

haha. Oh I love her. Especially when she looks like this.

We are FAMILY

To see more of the hundred pictures that we took during my family's trip to visit us, see my facebook page.  Thanks for coming dad, Jenny, Daryn, Jon, and Rachel! I love you guys so much.

Here's a random video for you to enjoy (not my twins). It gets me really excited though for when they're this age!

6 months

My giant preemies are 14 lbs 7 oz (Calder) and 16 lbs 15 oz (Everest)! Thank you Similac.  They are both rolling over, grabbing things, loving tummy time propped up on their elbows, making baby sounds in their own little language, sleeping through the night, and crying the other 14 hours of the day.  It sure is a lot more fun to be a mom of twins when I'm writing about all the cool stuff they're doing while they sleep peacefully in the next room.

Anywho, 4th of July was a blast as always.  I'm loving my new sunburn.

I came in last as usual, in case you were wondering.  Not "as usual" like I do a lot of potato sack races, but "as usual" like any  time I'm racing against someone.

You're welcome, Jon

I don't remember what this game was called, but it was totally awesome.  And I'm pretty sure I lost.

Yes, I took a picture at church.  It was just too cute to pass up.  They are sitting still and quiet!

hahaha.  A little retaliation.

 Can't wait for the 4th 2012!
