Hair

I found this on the floor the other day, fairly close to a pair of children's scissors.

She felt bad about it, but not as bad as me.  So I immediately made an appointment for her to get a REAL haircut, by someone older than 3.
I think we are all happy with the results.  Doesn't she look cute?

Diapers

We go through at least 350 a month.  And I'm not expecting to be done buying diapers for at least another 3 years.  If you expect to pay at least $25 a box twice a month for 36 more months, that's...well...a lot of money that I could be spending on something else.  Not clothes or vacations necessarily, but maybe hospital bills.

Since January I've been using the codes I get every time I buy diapers to enter into the Huggies Free diapers for a year contest.  I'm a contest enterer if you didn't already know.  But I never win anything.  The last time I won something I was 8 and I put a dollar into a super bowl pool against my parents and their friends and happened to win $50 ( I wish I'd saved that money to buy diapers).  Well there are only 4 days left until the last day of the contest, and I am praying, and fasting even, that I will win this contest.  Is that a stupid thing to fast for? Well right now it is one of the most important things I can think of to fast for.  So pleeeease, if you have nothing better to do, pray that we will win this diaper contest.

Smarty Pants

Congratulations to Jannet Moranz (my mother) on preparing to graduate next month in the top 5% of her class with the highest honors you could be awarded!  I wish I was half as smart and clever as my mom and I wish I could be there to celebrate with her.  Love you mom.
She's gorgeous, isn't she?

Keeping a positive attitude

So even though tomorrow is the first official day of spring and it still looks like the dead of winter, I have a lot to be grateful for.  Thank goodness for picture to remind me.

Yesterday I was holding the boys and looked out the window and saw this.

It may be cold but it sure is beautiful.  I had a moment.
We're still finding creative ways to occupy our time until I can use my new double jogging stroller!

And we can still DRESS like its spring, right?

 Everest after his bath
Calder during his bath...I even changed the water.
A happy Calder after his bath

I made THE best blueberry muffins with my new mini muffin tin.  This picture doesn't do justice to the cuteness of the mini's.
Nor does this picture do justice to the cuteness of my sleeping beauty.  I love her.
Taking advantage of the "last" days of winter.  Actually this awesome snow fort collapsed in our 40 degree weather the very next day!  Hooray for spring!

Blessings

Of all kinds.

The boys were blessed by their daddy on Sunday.

My mom, sister, brother-in-law, niece, 3 bro/sis-in-laws from Aaron's side and their families, and gma-in-law all arrived to snow covered Teton Valley safely.

Everything was P-E-R-F-E-C-T (except of course my mom's trip home, which I believe she is still on right now, 24 hours later...)

Grandma Lois made the blankets, they are beautiful!
By the way, Calder now weighs 9lbs2oz and Everest weighs 11 lbs!  They are 9 weeks old today.

Anyway, thank you family for coming to support us. We had a wonderful time and we love you!
