I need to play catch up a little bit. For the 4th we were in Twin Falls with Aaron's brother. Jade had a blast, but you wouldn't really know it from the pictures.

Last night we finally got Jade out of her crib. She slept all night in her big girl bed for the first time.
And today we spent maybe our 2nd day all summer outside. Good job me. Jade, I promise we'll do more fun things for the rest of the summer. This is the Rexburg splash park.

Update
For those of you who have been keeping up with the Preslee situation, here is an update from her family. I'm a little beyond words, and their words are a lot more comforting and inspiring than anything I could say.

Disbelief. How did this happen?? I know each of us and many of you are asking your self this same question. In the last week we have all experienced a range of emotions from tragic horror to hope to complete humility and now to an assurance that God is the true giver and taker of life.Little Preslee went back home today to the God who gave her life.
She was an angel sent here for us. An angel that has taught us about the miracles around us each and every day. When I think of what she accomplished in 1 week I begin to cry. She rebuilt testimonies, she introduced people to the gospel, she even saved a complete stranger’s marriage. Us, like many of you wonder why things had to turn out this way. With the hundreds and thousands of prayers offered up in her behalf and the complete faith we had for her to receive a miracle…why did this have to be?
One thing we have learned….that in the end all we have to really give is our will.
Elder Neal A. Maxwell rightly said: “The submission of one’s will is really the only uniquely personal thing we have to place on God’s altar. The many other things we ‘give’ … are actually the things He has already given or loaned to us.”
We love you Preslee…

Prayers
I don't even know this family, but my friend Lisa does and I found a link to this family's blog on her blog. Their little girl came very close to drowning a few days ago and she's in critical condition right now at primary children's. I am really emotional about this story because this is seriously my worst nightmare. Jade has fallen into 2 different ponds and fortunately had Aaron right there to pull her out. But I can't even imagine what this couple is going through. They can use all the prayers they can get, so please keep them in yours. Here's their blog...

So You Think You Can Dance has gotten a little bit old to me, even though I still watch it. I'm just not that inspired or excited about it very often, but I LOVED this one! Its not really that deep, but it made me smile the whole time. Its about a young couple at prom . I don't know why it makes me smile, my prom experience was nothing like this. I found out later that my date had another girlfriend. But I did wear a hot pink dress.
Anyway, I hope this guy wins!
Sorry I can't embed it, they removed the code from youtube.

Eclipse
Obviously I saw the movie (twice) and I really liked it, but I have a huge problem with something. Both times I saw it--one of which was a midnight showing--there were a huge number of little kids in the theater. Aaron and I saw it yesterday and there was a family with 4 young kids sitting next to us. They each left at least twice each to go to the bathroom, using my knees to help find their way along. At the midnight show last week there were so many kids that at the kissing parts there was an overwhelming sound of little kid giggling. I'm so bothered that parents take their kids to movies like this! Did anyone else see it and notice the same thing?
