My old college friend Donna came into town from Chicago with her husband, Mike, and their son Ben. It was so good to see them! Jade and Ben got along great.
Jade has actually been crawling for a few weeks now, but this is the first time I got it on video. She can crawl faster and for longer but when I'm sitting there watching her she just wants me to pick her up. It also sounds like she says mama (or maybe baba) a couple of times, which she does when she gets upset. But I don't think I'd count it as an actual word yet.
In case you missed it the first time around...And by the way, this dance may make more sense if you understand what its representing. The guy gives the girl a letter at the beginning saying he's leaving for the war and she's scared she's going to lose him.
Yes, Aaron is helping a little in this video, but Jade can now pull herself up to standing. Don't worry, we didn't let her pull herself up on our computer, its just the only video we have right now of her standing up like this. You can also see her two bottom teeth that have just come in during the last month if you look closely.
I don't usually use my blog for things like this, but I thought it was important. I have a hard time finding good books to read that are also clean, but thanks to my sister-in-laws, my mom, and the Stephanie Meyer phenomenon, I've had better luck. Now most of you have probably read these, but some of you may need some summer reading encouragement. I would love some more ideas too, if anyone has some. Give these a try...
