I have come the the realazation that noone I work with knows I exsist.
Unless:
A: Something is lost. (Then I should know where it is)
B: Something went wrong. (Then of course its my fault)
C: They need something from the shed. (Then I am supposed to get it in under 15 seconds)

Sundance Film Festival Reviews. Part one

IN BRUGES

This movie was my favorite out of all the movies I saw. It was phenomenal. So funny. The whole cast including Colin Farrell is fantastic. This film is pretty violent, & they say fuck alot, but I highly, highly recommend it. (It comes out Feb 8)

KICKING IT

This movie was a documentary about the homeless world cup. This movie was SO good. It followed different homeless soccer players from all over the world on their journey to the Homeless World Cup in Cape Town South Africa. This movie was at times very funny, but also heart breakingly sad. It covered so many differnt countires & teh differnt struggles teh homeless population faces all over the world. ESPN bought this movie, so be on the lookout. This film can't be missed.

INCENDIARY

This movie staring Michelle Williams & Ewan Mcgregor was awful. No good. The acting was great but the script was a diaster from start to finish. It was a great idea, but it went to hell. Chacters just disaper. One moment Ewan is on a bench, Then they never show him or refer to him for the rest of the movie. It just made no sense. AT the beginning the director stood up to introduce her film & said she had just finished it Friday. Yeah. You could tell.

Heath Ledger

I may not of liked Brokeback Mountain, but its still heart breaking when someone so young a talented passes on.

Sundance 2008

So as you probably know, or have assumed I spent the past for days celebrating my fave Holiday, The Sundance Film festival. I took in 5 films, and stalked the hell out of famous people. I made friends with the paparazzi,(who gave me the inside scoop on all the stars whereabouts) Met all my faves (Sarah Jessica! Matthew Perry! Colin Farell!), Found out what stars were assholes (Quentin Tarantino, Kirsten Dunst, & Jack Black) And found out that Mischa Barton is the most adorable nicest girl ever. (who would of thought...) All in all it was a wonderful time, & I can't wait till Thursday when I head back up for Matthew Perry's movie. I will put up pics as soon as I get them!

A bit of an eyesore....

So I went over to the Eyemasters in Sugar house and got contacts Saturday. (Bold move, I know) And they were splendid Saturday. Great. A bit of a pain to get in & out, but all in all, not so bad. Then came Sunday. Where I didn't take them out every 2-3 hours like instructed, & instead left them in for like 6 hours. (Bad move, I know) So now, since last night, mt eyeas are killing me. They hurt so bad. Like big time ouch. And my head hurts too. I'm the dumbest person every. I directly disobyed what the docyor said to do. What did I think would happen? But I really need my eyes to figure themselves out so I can start back up the schedule again to get my eyes ready for Sundance Friday. Yikes.

Diego.

So a few weeks ago around Christmas time this wonderful cat started hanging around the office building that Hiba & I work in. We thought it belonged to someone who lives near by, but as time went by, it became more & more clear that some jerk off must have dumped him. So Hiba's boss has been letting it live in his office. But then the building manager found out & now says that the cat, which we have named Diego ( After Diego Luna) has to go. The building manager is a Douchbag. This cat is the sweetest cat. So friendly. It loves to sit on you lap and purr. Its really afraid of men though, so we think someone may have abused it.
We are trying to find it a home, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it might end up at our apartment....

Can't wait.

Santa is coming.

Hello. Well its been quite some time. Sorry. But if nothing exciting ever happens, which is doesn't, I don't have much to write about. I did venture out in the blizzard last week to go see Santa & ask him for an Iphone. I don't really want one, but it seemed to be the cool thing to ask for, So I went with the flow.
Christmas is drawing very near. Just 12 days! And I have not bought one present. Yikes.

So, as you may or may not know, I love the MTV show "The Hills" I watch it obsessively. Every Monday at 11:00 and any other time it on. Well, anyhow, One of the delights on the show is Brody Jenner. And he is just lovely. And this weekend I met him. Well I more like just took a picture with him. But he seemed nice enough so whatever. Surprisingly enough, I had a way harder time getting to him then I have had meeting way more famous people like say, Al Pacino. But maybe that's because Al Pacino wasn't surrounded by go go dancers. But that's besides the point. I got my picture, I am happy, and here it is:

Well the day has finally arrived where Mr Beckham has arrived in America to start his time with the LA Galaxy. Needless to say, I am in fact very pleased. Even though we don't play LA for like another 2 months, but whatever...
In other news, I went to Denver for my cousins wedding this past weekend. It was quite the time. I think my favorite part was when my drunk father stumbled up to the stage to give a toast, where he proudly announced that he was there with his daughter and son. I have a brother. Who knew. Thanks Dad. You are such a treat...

Fireworks & Stuff..

Went to the game last night. We lost. So nothing new there, but at least we lost to my second fave team Toronto and Jeff made a goal, so we were pleased with that. Afterword they had some fireworks played some music, you know the drill....
Then we headed out on the town for some quality Jeff time, since he is only here for like 5 mins. So needless to say, I am very tired. And I got in a fight with some Doughbag who shouted mean things at Jeff during the game.

Well Kids, its that time of year when millions of stupid Americans are allowed to buy explosives from the parking lot outside their local grocery store. They will probably not heed the warnings, and if we are lucky, this might at last be the year where we burn down all our wilderness. So go grab your $5 Old Navy flag tee, your sparkly red white and blue scrunchy, and your denim vest. Don't forget to dress your dog like Uncle Sam.
