Five Friday Faves InstaFave Edition.

I present to you my fave pics I have taken from Instagram so far:

I truly adore the girls in this pic. They are the BEST.
I love flowers. All the beautiful colors in this garden just blow my mind.
This is love. 100% LOVE.
My sweet Fraggle is getting so big. I love everything about this photo. Rowan, the sidewalk, the table & chairs, his toy, all just fell together perfectly.
My smiling happy Stella. Again, 100% LOVE.

But, Who?!?!

My horoscope for Monday July 9th:

Someone is thinking about you hard today -- though the odds are good that they don't have all the facts they need! Try to figure out who deserves a more positive spin on your recent activities.

Who?!?! Who is this person!?!?
What does it all mean?!?!

Hot in Here

I can barely express how hot it is here. Its so hot.I thought the hottest it could get was in my car with no air conditioning. I was wrong. The absolute hottest it can get is inside Maxwells Bar on a Saturday night. Words can not express how hot it was. It was like a form of torture. I literally begged a friend for an ice cube from his drink. BEGGED. Mind you I was wearing a mini dress with a giant hole in the back so lord knows how anyone in pants survived....
If it was appropriate to stand around in my underwear I would of. I wouldn't of given it a second thought.
I am to old for that.

Quick Story

Soooooo, remember that one time I flew all the way to LA to see my husband James Franco at a showing of his movie where he was supposed to do a Q&A? Good story.

Well, thanks to Seth Rogan who is directing a movie James is currently filming in New Orleans, that is behind schedule, James couldn't come.
Wah Wah.
Major Franco Fail.
Needless to say this:
Was the closet I got to James Franco in LA. I attended his art exhibit at MOCA. It was called "REBEL" and was about James Dean, Brad Renfro and Natalie Wood. Well, Sorta.
Its VERY hard to explain.
 I liked it.
But I knew what I was getting myself into.
Pinky had no idea.
A snipit of our conversation following our visit to the exhibit:
Pinky:"That was not what I expected!"
Heidi: "What did you think it was going to be?!?"
Pinky:"I thought it was going to be a nice tribute to James Dean not blood and feathers and porn!"
The exhibit did include all those things. Plus a swimming pool with a motorcycle in it, loud noises, dark rooms, and a lot of different movie things being projects in houses.
I think for the most part, I got it. But, I could be totally wrong.
I've seen "Rebel Without A Cause" and considering I spend my spare time watching James Franco interviews on YouTube, I am pretty sure I get what my husband was going for.

It's paint not real blood. Don't worry.
Yes, that's James below in the red jacket with his head in someones crotch.
In case you are wondering what is happening in that first pic of James Franco, he is getting "Brad" carved into his arm for Brad Renfro. I know this because I watched the same video shown in the exhibit months ago...
Needless to say, Seth Rogan and I are going to have a problem with each other now.

Frog & Pig

Last week I got an email from Build-A-Bear. (Why I get e-mails from them, I do not know...) This email announced that I could build a Kermit. (A KERMIT!!!) Now, seeing as I collect Kermits, I was there. The day the Kermit were released to the public in fact. (It said limited supply people. What do you want from me!?!) Well naturally I pulled out the BFF card on Mayra and made her come build a Miss. Piggy to go with my Kermit The Frog. The outfits were a little pricey, so Kermit just got a t-shirt. How cute are our Frog & Pig! So fun.

Five Friday Faves-Winter Edition

Yes, its true I'm not a huge fan of snow/cold/winter. But since we finally had snow last week (And I realize how important snow is to UT for so many different reasons...) I present to you my Five Friday Faves, Winter Edition.

Fave Winter Accessory:

Scarves. All kinds! As long as they are soft. I always check a scarf for softness before purchase.

Fave Winter Spot:

Um yeah. Who wouldn't want to cuddle up on this porch with a hot chocolate and an even hotter boy? I feel like a deer could just wander up and take a snack from your hand.

Fave Cute Winter Thing:

I'm a big fan of the word "smitten".

Second Fave Cute Winter Thing:
Snowmans in love. So cute.

Fave Winter Pic:

Okay, to be honest I have no clue if this pic was even taken in winter, or of that's snow, but its to die for. Clearly my romantical side has started to come out.
(Don't worry my cynical, bitter, angry side will return soon I'm sure)

And a bonus, LOVE this song: Ingrid Michaelson -Men of Snow

Happy Snow Days Everybody. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Good Ideas

I have a four year old friend named Will. The other day we had a conversation. It went like this

"Hey Will, you are growing up so fast. You are getting old. What do you want to do before you get old?"

"You mean before I'm six?"

"Yeah. What do you want to so with your life before you are old?"

"I want to take the training wheels of my bike and play with my friend Jake"

Sounds like a great idea to me.

Two Cups.

Image via Le Love

For as long as I can remember my bra size has been a 34B I've had Victoria's Secret measure me several times and I've always been a 34B. I have not had any major weight gain or lost any major weight.

Turns out Victoria's Secret is run by a bunch of idiots.

I have never felt bras fit right. But I always just thought I had weird boobs. My bras have always gaped at the top and I thought it was because I just had small boobs. My back has always hurt, and my bras seem to need to be replaced every month. Well, I've noticed the under wire on my bras bending. Finally I went and asked my assistant manager and Nordstrom who used to work in lingerie about it. She informed me I am in fact not a 34B I am a 32D!!! Two other people that work in lingerie said the same thing. That's way off. I maybe cried. I have a least $500 worth of unworn VS Biofit bras that they won't give me my money back on. I don't want store credit, because I don't plan on shopping there ever again.

After this happened to me several more girls in my department went to get measured. Every single girl, that had previously been fit by VS was wearing the wrong size. Most were, like me, off by at least 2 cup sizes.

While I am pleased to finally be wearing a bra that fits correctly, I am extremely frustrated at VS. You would never wear shoes that fit wrong so why wear a bra that didn't fit right. Ladies, please go see a fit specialist at Nordstrom. And don't think it will cost more then VS. Many of their bras are under $40 and right now through the 31st, for the sale they have really great bras around $25. Please do yousrself this one favor.

Ride Of Our Lives

So how many Nordstrom employees can you fit on a bike taxi and still be able to pedal around downtown? Turns out four. Four plus one RSL employee. ;) Last Saturday we had a girls night out where we started at Red Door, headed to Gracie's, then somehow ended up letting this Justin Bobby type hot guy give us a ride on his bike taxi.

What a ride! We felt the wind in our hair, screamed when we thought we were going to die, and laughed A LOT. It was so fun to head out with some great old friends and some fun new ones.

Here we are pictured with our driver. Who's name I can't recall...

Spring Things

5 things I'm totally obsessed with this spring. Get on board people. Get. On. Board.

Pippa Middleton.
This girl is amazing. She is completely hot, has fantastic hair and great style. I want Prince Harry to ditch Chelsea Davey and hook up with her so bad. I want her wardrobe. I'm telling you Pippa is the new Kate.

True Blood. But especially Ryan Kwanten on True Blood.
Homeboy is a fantastic actor. He steals the show almost ever episode. And the show is surprising good. Thanks to Netflix/Pinky I'm on board. I just finished season one last night, and I'm dying for season two to arrive! It really does hurt so good.
Chocolate Coconut Frappachino from Starbucks.
Chocolate plus coconut. I don't really need to go on. They had me at coconut.
Maroon Five+Adam Levine+No Clothes=Never Gonna Leave This Bed.
Adam Levine is beyond hot. If I wasn't already promised to James Franco, I'd being saving myself for Adam Levine. The video and song our awesome. Its my new ring tone.
Zella Leggings from Nordstrom.
This are the most fantastic leggings on the planet. My friend Alisha calls them "God's gift to woman." If I could figure out a way to incorporate them into every outfit everyday I would. They fit perfect. make your legs look great, and are beyond comfy.
