Testing out the blogger uploading system. Though picasa was able to work well with this. Oh well.
Some photos wearing the formal attire. First time i wore till like that, making me feel so uneasy.
But thanks man, WRTORAL is finally done and i can mug on other modules already.

When i wore the attire to school, before i reach the classroom , i was sweating like mad.
Then during maths lecture, i just realized that the lecturer wore the same type and color of shirt as me. But different brand, cause mine is MANHATTAN. I just realized that my dad has a wardrobe of Manhattan's Clothing. ZOMG.
Then i tried to act like the lecturer, wearing specs. Weird that my attire look so much like his.
Btw, the lecturer is Mr Lee han young, which many people skips his lectures. LOL. I go sometimes i also sleep.

First time taking this kind of photos, all thanks to sajiv. LOL.
Anyway thank you LINDYYYYYY for helping me with my oral presentation as well as my WRTORAL teacher, Mrs June Dean. I think i did well.

Sunday At PKS

Early in the morning 8 o'clock, need to wake up to see the clock. LOL.
Anyway , went to PKS today in the morning to support Venerable Bodhi. The talk was on "Super Heroes"

I believe we all should change ourselves and then inspire others to change, so that the future of the society will be much more peaceful.

To Learn Is To Change

Unable to mug with mabel because i had a terrible headache and thus headed home via cab after lunch at Junction 8. Slept during the whole afternoon and now i am fully refreshed. I just completed my Principles of Aeronautical Science report and relaxing a bit for the moment.

The day was dull, except for some laughter in the morning, that's with uncle and auntie :D Come to think of it, i laughed only during the morning. LOL

Anyway tomorrow there is school and after tuesday which is the oral presentation and guess i will have time to mug already.

MUG MUG MUG. What else you do beside mugging that is worth your time? Some things are just not worth us wasting our time for. If i realized the simple logic of studying earlier, i would be in some elite JC now. I guess so. LOL

Directors Cup

Captain ball was GREAT. Imagine a hand appearing right in front of you even before the ball is within your one arm radius and you're standing on a chair, that's how GREAT captain ball was.

Had lunch and a haircut.
The long 40 Min bus ride from Tampines to Bishan was great.
Next , 4hours of mugging at RJC. GREAT. Everything seems great for me.
Trying my best to put mugging into a habit of me.

Long day tomorrow, will blog more soon :)

Memoirs of Lee Kuan Yew

I doubt i knew what got into me last night. I approached the store room and look into the pile of mess and spotted a thick red book. It says : "The Singapore Story ; Memoirs of Lee Kuan Yew"

The book was given by my dad a few years ago. First it was left on the shelf, next it moved to the storeroom, now it is lying on my table. The version i had was the one published during 1998.

That book is 10 years old, now that i begin to thought of that. There's two volume to it. One talks about the years before Singapore's Independence which is before 1965. The second volume is on the years to success, 1965-2000.

Some inspirational motivation i had that led me to the storeroom, trying to figure out a way to get hold of the book out of the pile of mess. Not to mention that i hardly read books, except for nicholas sparks novels.

It is just the beginning and still reading it. People should get a chance to read it.

Inspirational/Motivational

Its weird, after a long long long time it has been, since i last stayed at home during saturday.
Its been quite a while i guess. My day today was spent totally on studying till evening.
Exams ain't that near yet, not failing my modules though, but why? I don't know either.

I have the sudden urge of studying like mad. Because for some unidentified reason, i am so motivated for the past week to study hard.

My aim is simple, study hard enough to achieve the top results.
Don't bother about those philosophy questions , " So what if you study till so hard? " " In the end you'll get rich but no happiness or whatsoever , blah blah blah"

Let's just be realistic, we all have to do well in our studies.
Those people whose stories mentioned that they were once failures but yet became successful, how much is the percentage of such people?

Embry riddle, that's my aim.

Ok now mug like those Junior College students.

Just to sidetrack a bit, Mr James Wong, gave me a small buddhist book. It is called the "100tasks of life". It is a very meaningful book indeed and it tells us the practice we should do.
It is being explained in a simplified manner and just by reading it, i felt so inspirational.

In life, you live only once you can ever recall, so make the full use out of it.

Busy

Hiding at libraries, pretending studious on the surface, but actually conducting a lan session.

Check up wikipedia or articles about the famous corporate fraud, the Enron Case.

Recently something similar occurred in Singapore.
It's Ren Ci charity case.
This case has attracted many attention and is a popular topic among Singapore Forums.

Might not be him, when he trusts someone to do it, the people mishandled it and thus he has to be responsible for it. So many possibilities.

Busy man, not much assignments, but i feel so busy just by looking at the schedule.
Walk one by one, step by step. Be steady and calm, " AI ZAI!"

Aids

Weekends was spent with a hectic schedule.
I totally burnt my weekends.
Caught the latest film " Red Cliff ",directed by John Woo. I just realized that Damian Starred in one of John Woo's Production before.

School have been quite alright except that i need to buck up.
I recieved an email that depicts the story below, i don't know if it is true, but i still hope to spread the message around to save people.

It's in Singapore - Waterloo Street. A 10 year old boy, had eaten
pineapple about 15 days back, and fell sick, from the day he had eaten.

Later when he had his Health check done... doctors diagnosed that he had AIDS.

His parents couldn't believe it...Then the entire family under went a
checkup... none of them suffered from Aids.

So the doctors checked again with the boy if he had eaten out...The
boy said 'yes'. He had pineapple that evening.

Immediately a group from the hospital went to the pineapple vendor to check.

They found the pineapple seller had a cut on his finger while cutting
the pineapple; his blood had spread into the fruit.

When they had his blood checked...the guy was suffering from
AIDS...but he himself was NOT aware. Unfortunately the boy is
suffering from it now.

Life is full of different phases and obstacles. Meeting different kind of people and broadening our network.
Been feeling a bit of " Old ". I tend to speak well with people who are older, drink what old people drink, think what old people think, and even do what old people do. I can't think of any specific examples though. My mind is " OLD". hmm, hairstyles. I'm beginning to like a nice and smart hairstyle like old people have, and totally bored with those youngsters hairstyle.

The weird thing is, sometimes i feel the "OLD" way, sometimes i feel the "YOUNG" way.
Totally weird.
So i should tell myself " Eh jialat liao!"

Hope that people around me will be happy everyday in their life!

I came across this and would like to share it with others.

Are increasing your risk of an asthma attack
Could be permanently damaging your airways

Also, if you smoke as a teenager you are increasing the risk of your asthma persisting. And if you smoke around children or while you are pregnant you are putting them at risk of developing asthma.

Most people know about many of the dangers of smoking but nicotine is a highly addictive drug and stopping smoking can be difficult. However, it is not impossible and many people stop smoking every day in the UK.

It is also important to know that most people will attempt to stop smoking several times before they stop for good. This is normal in breaking the cycle of addiction and the most important thing is that you don’t stop trying. If you do start smoking again, do not be too disappointed and do not see it as a failure. Use it as an opportunity to see what went wrong with your quit attempt and to make the next one more successful.

Some helpful tips for stopping smoking:

Be prepared – the better prepared you are the more likely you are to succeed
Understand your habit – Before you stop try keeping a dairy of when, where and why you smoke. Knowing the situations or triggers that may make you want to light up will help you to plan a different response or to avoid these triggers altogether.
Know your reasons for stopping – Make a list of all the reasons why you want to stop smoking. Keep this list with you to remind you if you are tempted to smoke.
Set a date – Set a date and stick to it. Stub out your last cigarette; throw away lighters, ashtrays and all cigarettes. Start thinking of yourself as a non-smoker and stay determined.
Remember there are people to help. Your doctor, nurse or pharmacist can support and advise you about stopping. You can also contact the NHS Stop Smoking Service.

Busy

Alright, been busy during the weekend. Here is some of the screenshots of the "Catch Me Now".

I idolize Damian Lau, now you see why. I'll Await till the day when i will get a chance to meet him in person.

He died in the show due to a gunshot. The wife was left alone at the end of the story. It made me realized that when one person who is close to you, once they're gone, you will feel empty.

I probably feel that way, because when he died in the show, thats the end to the male protagonist thus i would feel the way. They are a group of people who rob the rich and give to the poor. Although it is just a drama, just imagine yourself with a group of people who brave through all troubles with you and one day, the leader or part of the member dies. A must watch show for cantonese drama fans!

Grieve all you can,

so put on a smile :D

Superb drama! I just hope he'll continue to film more dramas.

Mac Interface

This few days have been hectic for me.

Needed to submit Wrtoral By Tomorrow and then much assignments that are near the dateline.

Did not had the time to blog either. Monday i got my notebook and reached home quite late.

Anyway, blogging is a bit foolish. But nonetheless, i will still continue to do so.

That's practically ignorant, knowing that it is wrong, i still continue doing it.

It somehow or rather reveals your identity to the public. It is also giving others to grab hold of you. Blogging about daily lives , problems, and even conversations may give strangers bit of your life.

So many out there, blog as much as you can, but try not to let the netizens which are considered " strangers " to get hold of your personal life. It's rather foolish.

Or maybe we can share a joke.

Hmm, but i don't recall any jokes that ain't racist to me.

Or rather we can share something.

AH HA! Bill Gates is officially Retiring on 1st July! He is a philanthropist. Besides, he is the world 3rd richest man.

Let's look more towards the competitive side. Apple Inc.

Steve Job is more or less my favourite.

I just changed my interface into a MAC OS interface.

And that shows how much i like Apple products, not to mention i have mini's , shuffles, and videos at home.

It shows that people who changes to MAC interface in XP, are people who cannot afford to buy a Real MAC and decided to pose one. And one such example is me. But i like it!
