Easter and Stuff

Wow, this is going to be a long entry. I have procrastinated :-). Anyway this is our dearest Korbin lounging in his Elmo chair watching a show with June. He is starting to act so grown up.

Here is the front view of him lounging.
He loves rolling around on the floor. What a smiley little guy.
June dressed herself up and said she was going shopping for me. Doesn't she look so cute?
A couple of weeks in school we talked about Lehi. So I let June dress up and warn her stuffed animals that they must repent or they will be destroyed. She had a blast.
Korbin having snack time while I am trying to do school with June.
We started talking about the Earth in school. So I made playdough with June, and then let her pretend to make planets.
She had alot of fun.
Evidently, so did Korbin. I think he was way excited that I let him play with some play dough also.
June smelled the play dough while we were making it, and got flour all over her face.
June graduated from her preschool curriculum a couple of weeks ago. I am so proud of her she is learning at a much faster speed then I thought she would. She just loves learning and soaks every minute of it up. We threw her a graduation party. She had a blast especially because her favorite person, Tyler and his wife Elizabeth, came over to celebrate with us.
Here she is with her daddy. We had the hardest time trying to get her to look at the camera.
The weather has been so nice lately. So I have been trying to take the kids out everyday so they can get some fresh air. This is Korbin's favorite spot. It really freaks me out because, he is not used to stairs at all and I don't necessarily want him to learn on cement ones.
June has a blast going outside everyday. She had quite the imagination. It is so fun to watch her play.
This is the little playground by where we live. Korbin loves to try to be a big boy and climb up all by himself.
Yep the slide is a bit rusted. But, it still serves it's purpose of getting their energy out.
Korbin and June now ride together on her horse. It is so great seeing them play together.
And here is June helping Mamma make some waffles for breakfast on Easter Sunday.
The Saturday before we did a little Easter egg hunt outside. It didn't take Korbin long to find out what was inside of them.

Korbin was trying to take a break and eat the goodies in the eggs. :-)
It was so fun to see how excited June got when we told her the easter bunny had been here.

June Cheer Camp/ School Stuff

The Cheerleaders at SVU had a week long cheer camp to raise money for some new uniforms. So I thought it would be fun to sign June up for it. And she totally loved it. She still asks me everyday is she is going to Cheer Camp today. :-) This is a picture of their little performance they had. She is right next to one of her good friends Ethnie.

And here they are taking pictures after their performance.

Here is June's favorite pose that she learned, she does it all the time.

Last week we talked about Rabbits for our homeschooling curriculum. June got to make some Rabbit ears in school. And then for Family Home Evening that night we went over to our friends house who owns a couple of Rabbits and June got to play with them. She thought it was so fun. It was great for her to actually see them in person. Even though I hear they have quite a few wild ones that hop around here. I have never seen one though.
Oh, and here is Mister Korbin. He really wanted to try on June's rabbits ears. It is so much fun to do the things sister does. :-)

Spring Break/ Derek Tournaments

So I have totally slacked on updating my blog. Things have been pretty busy around here. And I was very bad at taking any pics on our trip to Derek's tournament. Luckily I do have a few. :-) This is June riding the merry go round horse at the Arundel Hills Mall in Baltimore. We picked Derek's mom up from the airport here in Baltimore and spent the night in a hotel. And the next day we went to huge mall with over 200 stores and then headed out to Derek's tournament in Pennsylvania.

We were able to get a room at the same Hotel that Derek's team was staying at. It was nice to be able to have him come up every once in a while and say hi. And that consists of all the pics I have from tournament. Pretty sad hu? I will have to do better next year.

This is in the van we rented to go out to the ocean over Spring Break. Derek's mom and sister wanted to put their feet in the Ocean before they had to head home. So we got a hotel room on the beach in Virginia Beach. It was a lot of fun.
Here is Derek and the kids on one of the beds in the Hotel room. It was actually a pretty nice room, it even had a balcony which made it even more nice.
Diane ( Derek's mom ) and me were the only ones awake enough to catch the beautiful sunrise at the beach.
June standing on the balcony waiting very patiently for us to go get ready so she could put her feet in the ocean.
And here is Mister Korbin walking along the beach next to the water. We were so lucky that it was a beautiful day.
Here is the whole family on the Boardwalk. We tried to get the kids to smile at the camera. They weren't too interested in the whole picture thing.
And here is Mama and Korbin in the ocean. My proof for saying I have been in the Atlantic Ocean. And it was freeeezing, Brrr.

Derek's Mom at the beach. She was in seventh heaven. And behind her is the hotel we stayed in.

June Bug sticking her feet in the icy water. It didn't seem to bother her at all. She was just soo excited. She kept calling it the really big swimming pool.

She walked along the beach finding seashells with us.

Here is Derek and Korbin. We had to keep a close eye on him, he kept charging straight for the freezing cold water.

All in all I think we had a pretty good trip. It was fun to see family again and actually get out to see something. We don't get out much with everything we have got going right now. But, it was really nice to finally make it back home to our own beds. And I definetly think that by the end the kids were tired of the vacation also and just wanted to go home. You know the saying, "There's no place like home." So, so true.

Korbin's Birthday Morning/Being Silly

Korbin loves playing with Derek's apron from Ukraine.
He puts it over his head and crawls into things and then starts laughing hysterically. It is so funny to watch.
What a sweet little boy.
This is Korbin birthday morning. We all went in early to sing to him.
He was happy even though it was so early.
We had a bunch of christmas wrapping paper left so we decided to wrap his presents in this.
June and Korbin waiting for his birthday pancakes.
Crazy morning hair.
Korbin loves walking everywhere now. He is such a big boy.
Korbin has a love, hate relationship with Aunt Annie. He cuddles then slaps. It is so funny.
