Morgan is on the Cheerleading Team at her school. She is a really good cheerleader and her little sisters love to cheer with her.

Ellie's new haircut

Do you like it? She did it herself. She is available to do anyone elses. Any volunteers? She will not be licensed for a while, Morgan told her that she could go to beauty school after she finished college. Oh yeah, she also can style hair, her favorite accesory is bobbypins.

After a long night of High School Musical 2, dancing to the music and having fun. The girls are having a tea party. Lori and I watched the Jane Austin book club, then crashed for the night. Lori was waken up early with a phone call @ 7a.m. By about 10 a.m. we were starting a craft project. We made some darling witch hats. I wish I would have taken a picture of the hats. (maybe I'll post one later) We had a GREAT time thanks Lori and Reagan We Love You!!!

The girls even got a facial. You can't see the apricot scrub, but it made the girls beautiful. One of the girls even said it made our skin straight.(I think they meant it took away the wrinkles) Lori and I laughed.

The girls all got their nails done, even Benny.

It's no fun eating ice cream without getting it on your face.

Friday night the Austin girls and the Buss girls did a girls night. The boys all went to the Fathers and sons outing. We spent the night with Lori and Reagan. The girls are eating ice cream cones while the pazookies are in the oven for Lori and I. Can I say YUMMY!

My poor baby got attacked by wasps. She got bit twice on her face once on her belly and once on her arm. Poor girl looked so funny.

She stays clear of wasp nests now.

Womens Conference 2007

Just found these pic's. What a great time we had. Krystal is an AMAZING artist. I look forward to it every year. We missed you this year Krystal and Heather.

OK So our dog is spoiled. The other day I went to the store to get dog food, they didn't carry the normal kind, so I got a generic brand. Well our dog will not eat it. She dumps out her bowl and brings me the empty bowl. SPOILED!!!

This summer we went camping with some friends of Wyatt's. We rented a rhino to go 4 wheeling. All 5 of the kids had a blast. Wyatt loved being the taxi cab driver all weekend long. On the last day it rained and the ground was so muddy. The kids were covered with mud, I didn't think their clothes would ever get clean. We had a great time.

Well. today was a milestone for the Buss family. Our youngest, Reagan, went off to kindergarten. I have to admit that I shed a few tears, as I realized that life is changing for me. She was so excited and so cute this morning as we waited for the school bus. She literally was jumping up and down (like a little pogo-stick) with excitement. I really wanted to drive her to school and make sure that she arrived safely, but, she insisted on riding the bus. I was set on getting to say my goodbye so I followed the bus with my car. She had a fantastic day and was thrilled with her teacher. She had many positive comments about the day, and just a few negative comments that I would like to share. "It was really hot at recess." "Some of the kids were very bad so we didn't get to go in the reading loft, I hope that they will be nice tomorrow."

Bateman's Summer Vacations

Well the kids are back in school, so our summer vacations are over. Here is what kept us busy this summer.

Girl's Camp

Here is Morgan at her first girl's camp. I can't believe that she is old enough to go. She had a great time as a first year, and dressed up like Michael Jackson and danced to Thriller for their skit night. Each ward had a decade and ours was the 80's.

Las Vegas girls trip
Morgan, Madison, Mom and I went to Las Vegas at the end of June for Morgan's national dance competition. I am still working on getting pictures of Morgan dancing from Morgan's friend, my camera was not working. We had such a fun time, we shopped, laughed and ate. Morgan's dance team did awesome and placed second and third. They were only beat by a dance from their own company. It was so fun to have a girl trip. We need to plan one for all the girls.

We went to our friends cabin in Pinetop the last weekend in June. The weather was so nice. It was great for the kids to be able to run outside and play.

San Diego

We went to San Diego and camped on the beach. Then we went to a hotel and spent a couple of days at Sea World.

McKenzie also came and stayed with us for a few days. We had a great time with her, but I did not get any pictures to post. The girls had their annual girls trip with Grandma, I think that she spoils them more every year.

4th of July Utah Trip

We got out of the heat this summer for the 4th of July. We had so much fun getting to see the Utah crowd and spending time with Mom and Dad, we just missed the Batemans and Jared and Heather.Joey loved getting to play with his cousins. Jon, Joey, and Hayden enjoying some video games.
